Lucia RistoranteGreat dinner at Lucia. EveryoneGreat dinner at Lucia. Everyone had a fabulous dinner. We had a great table next to a window on the main floor. Very glad we were there because the tables in the middle of the dining room looked a little dark. Will definitely return.6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMBeautiful setting &painted ceilingsOpen Window booth dining in the darling North End neighborhood on the Freedom Trail.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMItalian DelightFood this past weekend at Lucia's was wonderful once again. Don't think you can go wrong here. Three of our party had various versions of veal and each was pleased with their meal. I enjoyed the fettucini with lobster and scallops... tendy and tasty. Service was friendly and prompt even though it was a college graduation weekend.
However, the decor in the dining room on the mail floor needs some updating as parts were peeling off the wall. Still a great place to go. Enjoy!5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMhad eight oclock res did nothad eight oclock res did not get seated until 8:50 it was graduation weekend and every north end restraunt had lines down the block. Great food and great service i would go back just not on a "big weekend "5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMGREAT EXPERIENCEEVERYTHING ABOUT LUCIA WAS OUTSTANDING FROM THE SERVICE TO THE FOOD! I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMEND LUCIA TO ALL!5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMThe best Caesar salad dressingThe best Caesar salad dressing I have ever had. The food was served hot ( a pet peeve of mine!) and everything was delicious
The lobster ravioli was a house specialty and a large portion. Very good. The veal was tender and very flavorful, and the Marco Polo had lots of shrimp and the dish was overflowing.
The waitstaff was extremely attentive, and Anthony, the manager made sure we all had a great time.
We will be back! A new favorite for sure.5/16/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food. Simple and delicious.Great food. Simple and delicious. Good wine list. Very friendly staff who all seemed to be in a good mood.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMNorth Boston YummyFantastic Italian in North Boston. After a day of walking on tired feet, we tucked into Lucia and had fabulous fish and lobster raviloli. Great flavors, good wine, and really attentive service.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat!Always a good meal. One of my favorite reasonable prices restaraunts in the north
End!5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMNice early dinnerWe dined early evening after a college graduation. They were very accommodating when we requested our table be moved. Service was great and the food was delicious.5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMWe arrived a little earlyWe arrived a little early for our 7:00 reservation and were seated immediately. Our waitress, Annette, arrived shortly after we were seated. She was very attentive, but patient, as we took a while to decide what we wanted from the many menu choices. She told us about the specials and answered all our questions. The service was efficient, but not rushed. Lots of water refills. We had the Marco Polo seafood dish and the veal saltimbucca. Both were excellent -- veal was especially tender and not drowned in sauce. We would definitely return.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMSome of the best food I'veSome of the best food I've had in a long time- very much what I grew up with in an Italian kitchen. The entire staff was very personable and made us feel at home immediately. We saw the manager working very hard (you don't see that in many places!) along with the staff to accommodate the crowd, and everyone looked pretty happy! It was a great experience.4/21/2013 12:00:00 AMThis is my favorite restaurantThis is my favorite restaurant in North End and I've dined at plenty!4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMsimple and good foodThe food here is simple and good. We had the Marco Polo and pasta with shrimp and both were very good. We were seated in the basement and the ambiance was not that pleasant relative to other North End restaurants.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food was outstanding andThe food was outstanding and we were seated quickly. There was a very long delay between our appetizer and main course; from looking around the room it appeared that they had some sort of problem that was effecting everyone. However, we were in no rush and the waitress was outstanding in managing the situation. She touched base with us frequently, made sure we had plenty of drinks, and it was worth the wait.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat visit. Food was great.Great visit. Food was great. Service was very slow with no communication as to why (typical north end).4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMLove at first bite!I really enjoyed my first experience at Lucia. I went with my fiance and mother, and we all enjoyed our pasta dishes. I had the Ammazzafama, a penne dish with sausage and broccoli. Everything was very fresh and light. The service was very attentive and courteous.4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had to wait about 45 minutesWe had to wait about 45 minutes even though we had a reservation, but it was delicious and everyone was very nice.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMI went to Lucia's for my mom'sI went to Lucia's for my mom's 60th birthday dinner with a group of 6. My boyfriend and I arrived before everyone and they sat us right away and got us started with some wine. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and did not seem to mind one bit that the rest of my family ran about 15-20 late for the reservation. It was early evening on a Sunday and the dining room was still fairly quiet. My mom had a wonderful birthday and loved the restaurant. The food was phenomenal. Our server (I'm sorry I forget her name!) did an excellent job and wished my mom a happy birthday even though we hadn't directly mentioned it. It was my dad's first time dining in the North End and he loved it as well. Thanks for a fantastic experience!4/7/2013 12:00:00 AMI loved it, great food andI loved it, great food and service, a little noisy but the food was worth the noise.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMI've been here several timesI've been here several times now and never disappointed. They've been very accommodating when I've been with a large group - had a birthday dinner of at least twelve and they made sure there was a large enough table downstairs (which is very nice). My go-to place in the North End when I have friends and family visiting.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMHave been there multiple timesHave been there multiple times and always enjoyed it. One minor note: the booths are too small, so opt for a table. We will when we go back.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMMy son and I went for an earlyMy son and I went for an early dinner on a Saturday evening and it wasn't busy. The food was very good. The service was attentive. Because it wasn't busy, we really took our time and the waitress provided good service and wasn't overbearing. It was a nice casual place that I would go to again.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMWe all had veal dishes- theyWe all had veal dishes- they were all excellent! The waiter was very friendly and efficient.3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMMy favorite in the North End!This is my 4th visit to Lucia's. It's usually the place I go when there's a special occasion.. people from out-of-town, birthdays. The food is always excellent as is the service. Lunchtime is not a busy time for them so it was great time to eat and converse. Dinner-time can be noisier especially on the lower level by the bar. I recommend them!3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMGood food, good menu. A bitGood food, good menu. A bit crowded, but what do you expect for the north end? The only thing that was tad tad disappointing is they wouldn't let patrons bring a cake for a birthday celebration and about a lot of other restaurants in the area will. But other than that, fabulous.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AM
