The staff are friendly and work hard to make your evening special --- it is important to them. The food is simply perfect, I don't know what else to say about that, the kitchen keeps turning out wonderful dinners, every plate a new sensation for your taste buds. We had seafood risotto and truffle ravioli. It is one of the best Italian meals we have had. We enjoyed dinner so much that we returned for Sunday brunch---another excellent meal.
The service was professional and efficient. The wine list was limited, but solid. The waiter suggested an excellent Riserva Chianti that match our dishes well.

The only downside to it, was that even though I set the reservation, they wouldn't allow us to sit at our table until everybody in our party was there (we were only missing 1 couple). On this trip, I was taking a colleague and potential new hire to lunch during a day of interviews. Service was attentive and food, excellent. I was happy to find my favorite Bisteca dish from Coco Osteria now on the menu at Luce - this flavorful flank steak and arugula is tasty and low-carb. The other two diners had the risotto special and said it was delicious. Risotto portions seemed small, but that could have been an illusion from being served in a large dish. Decor is formal and elegant. On a Tuesday midday, Luce was quiet. Our waiter (and perhaps the manager) was very friendly and checked on us often without being obtrusive. Once we said vegetarian and ordered a dish that had meat, he made sure we knew that it had meat and that he would instruct kitchen not to prepare it with meat. Coming from NY, it may not compare with Arthur Avenue, but certainly tops anything we have found in this area... so we gave it 5 stars on this comparison. The osso bucco, sea bass, seafood pasta and desserts were delicious.
