"This is not one of the better local restaurants. I doubt if there is anyone in the kitchen who has tasted Italian food. They survive because they are in a good location with foot traffic and a large outside space."

"The second time's the charm. On our first visit we had had trouble with the wine list and the bottle brought to the table. But the food had been good, so we decided to try again. Everything was perfect. We would definitely go back when we are going to Lincoln Center events. Salads, entrees and desserts were delicious. Even the appetizer mussels made a full dinner. And the wine we requested was the wine that was brought to the table, correct vintage and all. I'm glad we tried again."

"We needed a restaurant near Lincoln Center to go to in between the time we were able to pick up our tickets at 6:30 and the start of the opera at 8:30. The service was prompt and we ate and made it back to the opera in good time. The food was okay, nothing special. Same for the ambiance. Prices not too bad. Probably will go somewhere else the next time I am at Lincoln Center, but all in all the experience had nothing to complain about."

"Good to very good but not really great. Crabmeat stuffed calamari tubes were incredible though (on polenta and white beans). Black linguini good. White clam sauce linguini okay. Split pea and broccoli puree soups just okay. Bruchetta spread delicious though. Ambiance/interior is a little overly lit and blah in design."

"Went here before the opera. Wanted to eat outside but it was a bit cold, so we opted instead for a table by the windows in front. The wait staff was very attentive even as the place filled up at dinner hour. We were never rushed and the meal was served at an excellent pace. The food was excellent. We even took a chance on a new dish for us - the baby octopus appetizer. It was delicious and I would highly recommend it. All the entrees were cooked perfectly and served in generous portions. The 3 ofbus shared a molten chocolate cakebwith vanilla ice cream. The perfect end to a perfect meal."
