Diner Reviews
  • "Service was adequate (nothing special), and food was pretty good. I thought the pork chop was much too salty but I didn't bother sending it back because we had already waited awhile for the food. I've been to this place before (and it was MUCH better the first time), so I'm not ready to give up on it just yet!"

  • "We were there for a Bachelorette party and they sat us a the perfect table for all 7 of us, we were able to order quickly, however the only thing we didn't care for was the waiter basically forcing us to eat a specific side when we tried to order a different side... however the rest of the experience was great!"

  • "I made a reservation for 10 people, and called the morning of to confirm and to raise the number to 11. When we arrived, the restaurant had prepared a table for...8! We had to squeeze in chairs around the table. The restaurant was incredibly loud; I mean very, very loud. Food was just fine. Lots of options for a group with varied tastes."

  • "Ate here with a few friends for Sunday brunch and had a surprisingly bad experience. The service was slow despite the restaurant being mostly empty and when our food finally did arrive, our food was cold. They seemed disorganized and uninterested in serving us."

  • "This was a great place for a after the Fox Theater meal on a Sunday afternoon. Easy Parking, not crowded and great food."

  • "Our disappointment at the number of TVs in the bar area disappeared when we were seated in the lovely dining area. Our dinner was delicious and our server was charming and helpful."

  • "Went with a party of four, were the only ones in the back room except for one large party and there was a large group in the adjacent room. Service was extremely slow. I had the arincini which was quite good. Unfortunately, the lobster mac and cheese was not. Very uninspired version. My first beer was served warm."

  • "Went on a weeknight, and the place was quiet - too bad, because the food was delicious. I had tuna with soba noodles, and the fish was prepared perfectly. Drinks list was filled with too-sweet cocktails, but it's easy to order something to one's own taste. I'd come back again for food, and come again on a weekend to see if it's more crowded and festive."

  • "Tender and tasty ribeye. Duck fat fries are awesome. Service was average for this type of restaurant, but not bad enough to not go back."

  • "Food was not fully cooked...pancakes were done on the outside, gummy in the middle. My omelet was the same way. I submitted an email to the restaurant regarding this manner and no one has contacted me."

  • "The server was great. Very patient with my picky friend and provided many options for us to choose from. Menu has a wide variety. Bar scene was fun to go for cocktails with a few girls."

  • "Good service, fresh tasting food, energetic spot. No Valet at lunch so bring quarters. I enjoyed the dining experience. Kale/Ceasar Salad with Shrimp especially good, Shimp Poboy with Andouille Sausage just OK, gumbo about a 5/10, roux a little dark. Good Calamari..nice brew selection nothing on draft tho. Overall, a good spot for lunch."

  • "The overall experience was great. The food was excellent. The service was very poor for the establishment to be pricy. Did not like the fact they made me pay a $20 grautity when the service was not worth $5.00"

  • "My girlfriend and I we're staying at the Renaissance Grand just down the street. We had a 10pm reservation as one of the many surprise stops I had arranged for Valentines Day. The service was spectacular from beginning to end. The food was amazing, along with a great selection of cocktails and a robust wine list. A complementary long stem rose and champagne toast were the icing on the cake. This is a must if you're in the area. We will definitely be back."

  • "Great service, good atmosphere, and a menu selection the is just about right (perhaps just a few too many items). Food quality and quantity is nicely proportioned and meals are cooked to taste. Wine selection is good and the bar has numerous choices with a welled trained bar staff. Service is good with clean tables, quick water refills, and an attentive server (Sam). Everyone enjoyed their meal and said they would come back. Dinner for 3 including 3 appetizers, a glass of wine, 2 beers, a rye, and 2 1/2 entrees came to $150 plus tip."

  • "We were killing time before a concert in St. Louis and had drinks and a light meal here and everything we excellent. The Popcorn and Olive and Pickles appetizers were great. We also split the Roasted Beet Salad and it was incredible. We will definitely go back for a bigger dinner when we are visiting St. Louis in the future."

  • "I love this restaurant. The food is absolutely second to none. TOP SHELF Chef! The service is mediocre, but the ambiance and the food more than make up for that. Definitely go here!"

  • "The food was decent; they have some interesting combinations. We were there as a family on a Saturday night and they didn't give us any funny looks for coming in with our sons, which we sometimes get. One of the things that was a little irritating was the lights that kept changing colors over our table. That was a little too disco ball like over my tuna."

  • "Perfect spot for a business dinner. Large open room with good service and good food. We had a party of six. Everyone enjoyed themselves. We sat at a round table and were able to all participate in the conversation. The Lamb special was a hit! Good wine selection too."

  • "the place has a fun atmosphere while still being "nice." we met friends there on a saturday night and were able to have good conversation while checking the football game and enjoying good food. the flexibility of small and large plates allows you to have the dining experience you want. not all the food was out of this world, but it was all good. the service was outstanding--attentive without being intrusive or pushy. would definitely return."

  • "I booked a lunch meal for a party of 8 and everyone had a positive experience. No one could find any negatives. There was only one inconvenience that really didn't make a big difference, but, we tried to make a reservation for 11:30am and there was no seating available. We made the reservation for 12pm and when we showed up, there was only a couple of tables full. I'm not sure why we couldn't get our 11:30am time."

  • "Menu wasn't extensive but both the ricotta and the salmon were excellent. We also had the dessert bites, just delicious! Our waitress was pleasant and had great timing, not overbearing with coming by the table. Loved the setting, upscale but laid-back and comfortable. Felt a little underdressed in a hoodie and jeans, but not awkward at all. Will definitely be visiting again!"

  • "We come here every year for a holiday party and I always order the pistachio encrusted Chilean Sea Bass which is amazing! The staff is friendly and attentive. Great location on Washington. The ceasar kale salad would be better with less dressing. Dessert samplers were just the right amount."

  • "The food and service was outstanding. Our waitress Sam was helpful , present but not obtrusive. She was well versed in the menu. The wine selection is good. The chef prepared the meals expertly. We were treated very special"

  • "We held an informal business dinner at Lucas Park Grille. We were seated at a round table in the back room near the fireplace. It was warm and quiet - just the perfect setting to relax with business associates sharing information and socializing. The service was attentive but not overbearing. The food selection fit all tastes, from my colleague with the cheeseburger and fries to my 'meatless' meatballs which, by the way, I highly recommend.."

Food was fantastic!!! We ordered several small plates instead of big dinners. Salad with Shrimp great choice, calimari, and portabella fries made a meal out of everything!!! Service was wonderful."
