  • "We decided to go to the Lounge Burger with a last minute change of plans, and totally glad we did!! If you haven't tired the Lounge Burger yet you are missing out on one of the Best Burgers I think I have had in Calgary!! I had the southwest burger - uhmmm "YUM" portion was massive presentation was something I've seen in New York Burger places... But it's not just Burgers.. There app menu is also totally yummie.. with chicken & waffles!!!! Yup absolutely a fun time, good with friends.. The service was a little slow but actually that was a good thing because we needed a breather after the apps!! Totally would go back and am looking forward to trying the "Big Kahuna" Burger next time!!!"

  • "Fries good, burger okay, but service at times inattentive and kitchen slow. Ordered around 12:20-12:25 on a weekday and food arrived 1:05, unacceptable for what is essentially a burger joint (if food outstanding would have been worth the wait, but it wasn't) Over half an hour for a burger and fries is too long to wait. Prices also seem high given that no side provided with burger (e.g. $15 burger comes without fries, have to pay $3 extra for them)"

  • "Great spot to hit up before or after a concert or game, just be sure to make a reservation as it gets very busy due to the location."

  • ""Kobe" burger was really good. Bun was nice, fresh and soft. I recommend. Sides were delicious. Great place to go before a hockey game....if you can get in."

  • "We went prior to a Flames game and the place was buzzing. Service was fast and good because we had to get to the game. Burger was big and I couldn't eat anything else for the rest of the night. I would go again."

  • "Great palce to meet a group before the game or for an event. Service was good but a little spotty once it got busy. Staff was very friendly and helpful."

  • "Good spot before a hockey game, concert. Underground parking for $10 before a Flames Game. Always busy."

  • "$50.00 for 2 burgers, onion rings and some fries. Had the food been exceptional I might not have minded but it was average certainly not worth the price. Very loud for the lunch hour and the service was extrememly slow."

  • "Food was really good, service a bi t slow and two dirty glasses had to be sent back, on the other hand it was very busy. Noise level high...but if you like a place with lots of energy! 4/5 stars"

  • "I always book a reservation at Loungeburger 1-2 weeks in advance of heading to a Flames or Roughnecks game and am never disappointed. They know how to accomodate a sports fan crowd and ensure you make it to the game on time. I would give the food a 7.5/10...chicken and waffles can instantly satisfy a sweet tooth (although you know it's going straight to your waistline), the burgers are always a hit (juicy and delicious!) and for those who require gluten-free, a large majority of the menu can accommodate. Staff and servers are always friendly and attentive. It's nice to see management on the floor as well ensuring that everyone is taken care of. Good food, good people. I'd highly recommend it."

  • "Great food. Great service. Great ambience. Congratulations to LoungeBurger for getting it right!"

  • "Although the burger was very good, spending $20 for a burger and fries is a little too pricey for my liking. I suspect this will be a special occasion only place for me (before a hockey game) because of this. Our waitress was fantastic though and the service was very quick. If you don't mind spending a little more money, I would highly recommend giving it a try."

  • "The service was outstanding. The waitress was very attentive and our orders came quite quickly. The waffles and chicken was delicious, although it was on the small side portion wise. We would definitely go again."

  • "We met here for dinner prior to attending the Harlem Globetrotters game. The bison burger and southwest burger were the meals of choice. Both were substantial burgers (filled us up!) and were very well prepared. Yam fries were good as well. This restaurant has a great location for grabbing a pre-event meal, and heading over to the Saddledome/stampede park as it is within easy walking distance (cold weather notwithstanding!)"

  • "To be honest, I wasnt impressed at all. First off, when sat, it took 15 minutes to be acknowledged in any way. I even heard a waitress go over to the host stand and ask who was serving our table. 2 minutes later a server comes and greets us, tells us that our server is late. So we order from her, after we finished our appitiser (which didnt come with the hot sauce we requested), our new server finally came and took our order, and asked if i would like another beer. I said i didnt care for the one i had, and asked if they had a beer that had a more hop flavour. To which she asked "what are hops". A basic knowledge of beer would be appreciated. The food was bad, experience was very poor."

  • "The Wasabi Ceaser and many others are amazing! The burgers are expensive, and just ok for a place with burger in their name."

  • "We tried the Chicken Waffles as a starter and it was super delish! Good place to try something new and have a classic."
    Dined on 3/1/2014
  • "The reasonably good food and ambiance was overshadowed by the extremely slow service. We should have had a clue when we had to wait at the hostess stand for several minutes while staff chatted about 20 feet away. The only acknowledgement of the lengthy time it took to get our burgers was our waitress who said "it shouldn't be too much longer" after we had already been waiting too long. And we still waited another 10-15 minutes after that."

  • "The name doesn't disappoint! Four of us had three different kinds of burgers and we universally loved them! The poutine was equally awesome and the beer list did the trick as well."

  • "Your rezervation software was showing all booked up from 5:30 PM and on! That was not correct and you need to improove it, to be more accurate. Otherwise your info is not trustworthy."

  • "This place is ok but the managers that were working kept saying how stupid the customers were because they didn't have reservations. I had to send a beer back because the keg was flat and my beer smelled like a skunk. We were seated then manager came over and asked if we had a reservation (which we did). I go back if there was new management."

  • "The burgers still great, but you can not longer build your own and they do not have the Sliders on the menu."

  • "LB has always been a great pre-Flames warm-up and meal. It is bustling, energetic, lots of screens to stay up on the evenings sports. We've simply had the pub style offerings and not been disappointed. The highlight is the service, its always been welcoming and efficient. In fact, we're planning to make LB a destination for our next downtownish visit or maybe lunch, (its a long trek from home)."

  • "Our most recent experience was a party of 8 and the service from the kitchen, was slow. We waited almost an hour from the time we gave our order to it being on the table. They forgot an entree which they quickly rectified and gave that person the meal for free. The manager came over immediately and apologized. I thought that was great customer service. The food was really good according to the group except for my side ceasar salad which was sparse and wilted. There were literally 4-5 bites only. Given it is alacarte and I paid for that salad, it was certainly poor value. Someone else ordered a side garden salad; however, and it looked great. We will certainly be back to Loungeburger as the overall experience has been fun and good times."

  • "This is my 2nd visit. This time I met a girlfriend for lunch. She had the Strawberry, goat cheese & bacon salad. This was a hit! Small disappointment in the size of the shrimp but this was made up for by the quantity. I chose the Tropical Salmon salad. Salad was fresh, citrus dressing delicious and not overpowering and the portion size just right - in between the mammoth family size bowl and 5 leaves artfully decorating the plate. My one complaint - the salmon was lukewarm, almost cold. Service was good - both the manager & the server were very attentive. Since the specialty IS burgers - including lamb, chicken, shrimp and vegies - it may be unfair to rate it solely on its salads. So, a decent effort overall and we would go back."

  • "Nice to see the renovations I haven't been in a while. Great service and food and a flames nite so very busy. WE didn't feel rushed, thank you for doing that."

  • "So my burger was good but they made lots of mistakes with our order. Everything was handled well and corrected but if you specialize in burgers shouldn't they be pretty easy to get right? And we got our food so fast I felt like they just wanted to free up the table for the next couple .. they put a reserved sign on our table before we even had our coats on to leave. What's great about lb ? If you are going to a concert or flames game you are steps away from the dome .. so yes I'd go back but only for the location really."

  • "hamburger meat was tasty and cooked properly. serving uncooked hamburger (processed meat) occurs and has risks involved."

  • "Almost $20 for a bland and small hamburger and fries. Another $4 if you want a house salad. Had a "spicy" burger with chipotle mayo, jalepeno pepperjack cheese and jalepenos. Took the 2 sliced jalepenos off....result was no spice whatsoever. I had to dip my burger in ketchup to get any taste. My friends did thei same with theirs. Burger was pretty small too....about the size of a big mac...except it cost $15. Hamburger patty came looking 'preformed' and served on a weird taste-confusing sweet bun. Very very bland food and everything ala carte so ends up being overpriced. My dinner party of 4 all had the same opinion of their burgers: southwestern, inferno, bison. Upside: gravy is good and manager is friendly and nice. Waitresses slow."

  • "I went for lunch before Christmas and there was maybe a total of 6 patrons in the restaurant. My two dinner companions loved their sandwiches/burgers, but my salad was not something to write about."

  • "Very different burgers from the last time we went here. Way too much sauce on them and there was minimal blue cheese on the burger my spouse and I ordered. The service was great. But not as good as I remembered."

  • "If you want a burger or hotdog this is the place to go. This place had a variety of burgers from californian style to greek lamb. It was a great place to eat at right before heading over to the Flames Game. Make sure to reserve a table a week in advance though because there are no tables available for walk-ins on game night."

  • "We went to loungeburger before a Flames game, it was a great atmosphere and the food was outstanding. I had the Bison burger and my son had the Inferno burger, both were excellent and for the amount of people in the place the service was reasonably good. I would definitely go back again"

  • "It's been a while since last I visited - things have changed! For the better! Service lagged a bit although in a busy lounge that is to be expected. Different menu options add variety and the Nathan's dogs are a nice inclusion. Great wings and poutine and a nice lounge selection with ample screens. The place was hopping!"

  • "The meat is so tasty and moist.....certainly notice the quality of the beef. Because LoungeBurger doesn't use fillers in the burger, they stay together, so the burger isn't messy and is very easy to eat. My husband had a Bison Burger and said it was the tastiest burger he has ever eaten (and he loves burgers!!!). We met friends there before a hockey game so the place was very busy and noisy and then they jacked up the volume of the music, so wasn't too indusive for visiting. I sure did appreciate being able to make reservations though!"
