Great drinks, service, and food! Of our party of four, each person was happy with the whole experience. All of us loved our meals! We will definitely go again, before or after a show at the Landis Theater right next door.

We decided to dine before a show at the theater. We had 6:15 reservations and waited a long time before a server came to our table. It was busy and looked like short staffed. On nights when the theater is open, we thought that there would have been more help. It will not stop us from coming. But our dining experience turned into a rush experience when we should have had plenty of time. Food was outstanding-our compliments to the chef.

Overall my experience was wonderful, the service was great the food was good. however my family went there to hear the band that was playing. There were maybe 6 other patrons and everyone else was the bands family members. If we were not there the bar would have been empty. After we ate and danced for a short time we were told that our children were not allowed on the dance floor. I feel this was unjust. I know children don't belong in a bar but there wasn't any one else there and they were not bothering anyone. Those with children left early causing the place to lose money. They would have stayed and spent more.

If I wanted a "Salt Lick" i would have gone to a farm ! The food was not as advertizes in OPEN Table ! The server(only 2) was helpful but overwhelmed with a large priv. group & the bar. I could have found better PASTA out of a can of Chef Boy Ar Dee ! To bad since the place looked good and the live music was good and made for a vibrant Bar Scene.

Our first visit. Received many recommendations from friends to try them out. Was really pleased with the entire package (venue, staff, food selection and quality, atmosphere). Quiet night out with my wife. Very enjoyable. Definately will return.

Our first time at Mori's was Feb. 14,I have to say it was just ok. The food was good but we weren't told there would be a limited menu so that was a little disappointing. The atmosphere was nice, we sat by a large window, the service was good too. My husband and I did agree that we would give Mori's another try on a regular day , not a holiday.

Staff is inexperienced and stumbling over each other yet still manages to ignore the guests directly in front of them. After standing at hostess stand for ten minutes we have up and went to the bar where one girl was bartending and six others stood around. Took ten minutes to get her attention, caught on and ordered two rounds of drinks off the bat. Would have left immediately were we not going to the show next door. This place cannot handle a crowd, of any size. Won't be back.

There is a problem. I would suggest that when taking a reservation OVER THE PHONE OR OVER THE INTERNET, you should ask the customer if they are attending the show. I believe what is happening is that everyone comes in for dinner at one time, usually on a Saturday night, so they can then eat prior to the show. This is great except for the customer who is caught in this deluge and is not going to the show. They are asked at the reservation desk, are you going to the show? If the answer is no, they must sit off to the side even though they have a confirmed reservation. It is far better to tell the customer at the time reservations are being booked that their preferred time is not available.

Excellent food. Some original selections, well prepared. Service, so-so. Waitress had a bigger table and all she had for us was "I'll be right with you" 10 min after we sat And, "sorry about that" 20 min after. She was nice, but needs training. She should have asked for help. There were some staff doing nothing. Annoyed to have to listen to the host staff chit-chat 5 feet away as if we were not there. Also, saying: "You don't want to hear the specials, do you?" does not exactly inspire confidence in the specials, and PLEASE don't say innappopriate things! Last, we understood that there was a new years eve party brewing in the back room, but when the dance music from that mixed with the music in the dining room, it was loud & maddening.

Waitress was untrained in nuances. Friendly young lady but did not know certain routines: should pour wine for customer instead of leaving little decanter next to glass; should remove fork from customers plates not ask them to do it; don't disturb diners frequently asking how food is, (once is sufficient- let them enjoy the meal and each other's company),asked about dessert but did not ask if they wanted coffee or tea with it (we had to ask for it). Small points perhaps but glaring to people who eat out alot. I paid the 18% tip because she was a kid and just needs a few pointers. Keith Hoffman

I had an early reservation and the place quickly filled up, perhaps because like me, the patrons were going to the show at the theatre to which it is adjacent. Very nice place, good food. They also have weekday 2 for $25 dinner specials, so that would be a bargain. The food was delicious and the plating very nice and appealing. I met one of the chefs earlier when I arrived, being confused by how to get into the place, telling him, they need a sign, Entrance at the door I did not see (or use). I had seen a sign saying to go through the theatre (which I learned had nothing to do with the restaurant). Since they are attached, I did not know this.
