It was early (5:30) on Thursday, so the restaurant was quiet. The other diners were in another area, so we had the entire room to ourselves. (We laugh a lot!) This is a good idea (several separate rooms) for privacy and nooise level. The portions were generous and the food piping hot. The salad was really fantastic!! We loved the crusty bread, with the oil and parm cheese added by the individual diner, separately. The wine selection (and beer) was good. Our server was attentive. As posted, there was a 20% tip added for parties of 8 or more (but we always tip that much anyway). He was nice without being overbearing and made great recommendations. The food was great-it was a bit pricey but we had a coupon through the Discover Indy book. Everyone liked what they ordered. The food and dessert did take ahwile to come out but we didn't mind since we were enjoying the company of friends. There is free parking across the street if you can snag it. Or you can park at Circle Center-it is a short walk. The food was outstanding, we had the meatballs for an appetizer and those were superb. We both had pasta dishes, both of which were great. The server was very friendly and knowledgeable. Drinks were brought to us quickly, menu with specials was explained well, staff kept checking on us. Appetizer was brought quckly, and was also tasty (bruschetta). The last 3 times have been excellent. Have now tried a number of their entrees and all have been outstanding. Great downtown location with valet parking for $7 which is not a bad price. The food was very good. Our waitress was very nice and attentive and we will be back!

This could certainly be the place for a romantic dinner with your special someone -- but it's fantastic for lunch with a friend or business associate, too! Our server was attentive without being annoying - a delicate balance. The food was remarkable (best tomato-basil soup EVER!). And the room is upscale without being stuffy or intimidating.
