"We had a very lovely brunch with excellent food, excellent service and a quiet environment. We were able to enjoy ourselves and have a very nice Easter... thank you so much! One suggestion: please add a variety of fresh fruit and some other salads, including fresh salads."

"Excellent spot if you like hunting/game oriented and outdoors theme. Several restaurant unique entrees, e.g. roasted duck and freshwater lake preparations. Also one of the few places you can get sweet potato fries."

"We went to an early dinner on New Year's Eve. The manager and hostess were very friendly and efficient, the menu looked terrific. However, our waiter seemed very rushed. The place wasn't even half full and they seemed short-staffed. We sat at 5:30, ordered a drink, appetizers and dinner. At 7 we asked where our dinner was and were told we were "next up". At 7:10 we said we were not waiting any more and would like to cash out.

To their credit they offered to pick up the check for what we had already eaten (we refused), and were very apologetic. Everyone who had been seated after us was finishing their meals, so it seems we were the only unhappy ones. I wanted to like this place - the menu was interesting. Maybe try it for lunc"

"I requested the "best available table" for 7 following my daughters graduaton. We arrived 45 minutes before our reservation time but waited only a couple minutes for our own private dining room! Which was a total surprise and really neat to see the chefs own awards, certificates, medals and newspaper articles. Very appropriate for our graduate chef! Onion soup was great,as were onion petals and crab cakes and these appetizers had a delicious couscous salad on the side. Our favorite entree's were the Beef Filet, Citrus Perch and Kettle Duck. All beef done perfectly, fish had a tasty sauce and the duck had crispy skin and moist meat. Too full for dessert but did take a killer layered chocolate cake home. Great service and reasonable prices."
