Excellent, attentive service. Wide range of wines and cocktails. The menu has a nice variety for fish, pasta and steak, as well as nightly specials, which sounded amazing. It's next to Cheeseburger's, which has nightly live entertainment, so be warned that the sound travels if you're looking for a quiet dinner on the patio. It's on the pricey side for mall courtyard dining, but it is Wailea. Worth visiting, particularly if you're staying at the Marriot or Grand Wailea, since it's within walking distance.

I wanted to think all previous negative reviews were wrong, but when we went they didn't even make the signature dish correctly. The shrimp Longhi was off on two counts.....added pare sedan cheese to the garlic bread which affects the garlic, lemon sauce...and they neglected to toss the shrimp in flour before sautéing. Omitting this gives a less flavorful shrimp. I talked with the manager on the way out as they sell their cookbooks there. He indicated they did make it wrong. The place was very empty....waiter was nice but seemed to want to talk. Maybe he was bored. They could have cleaned the tables....we were seated at one with semi dried ketchup. Yuk!

The food was pricey and lacked in taste, presentation and portion size! Be prepared to be charged for every little thing. i asked for a slice of tomato in place of the carb my dish came with and they charged me $1.75 for one slice of tomato!! We sat outside and were drenched in sweat by the time we finished our meal. I would totally skip this restaurant all together.

We expected better food for the price, even in Maui. Which we know is very expensive. The clams with linguini were a little tasteless, as was the child's pasta with bolognese sauce. The shrimp and scallops dinner had terribly unfresh scallops. I would not recommend this restaurant.

We have been to Longhi's almost every year since we have been coming to Maui for over a decade. It is always one of our favorites. This was one of the worst dining experiences we have ever had on Maui. We sat for 10 minutes before being acknowledged. We had to ask for bread and the busboy seemed to be bothered that he had to bring it. We were given the iPad menu for drinks then told we would here about the regular menu and specials when he (Derek) came back. That was another 5-7 minutes... Still no water. The food was bland though my wife liked her fettuccine with shrimp, my chicken had no flavor at all. We never got checked on the whole time. Ian, the one bright spot in the restaurant got our waiter to bring the check. Never again.

The food as always ...very good! First, reservation no problem seated on time. Our son has a problem with people that use to much cologne or perfume. After trying to stay where we were, I asked to be changed to another table and wait staff was very kind and obliging. Also due to outside setting, tablecloth has debris and glasses, chair pads stained. We had breakfast here a few days earlier, same thing but no problem with smells. The food as always very good.

Visited during lunch (weekday). Not very crowded I presumed due to the time and the day of the week which was excellent for me, don't like noisy crowds. Reserved for indoor seating, but when i arrived they had us sitting in the patio area. I thought it would be too hot for my elderly mom, but the hostess insisted that the canopy would be fine. I would have preferred in little more inside seating. I guess they wanted to keep everyone close in one area (outside patio) for thier convinience. Thus, lower score for the Service for not honoring request, otherwise the food service was great. food was delicious. we had 2 pasta dishes, caprese & calamari. calamari was not overcooked, but the light batter could've been cooked 'til golden more.

My family (wife & two boys) vacations to Wailea on Maui every year over the summer and eat at Longhi's at least once. We started by ordering calamari, which seemed a bit undercooked. My wife and I both ordered the Longhi salad - very good. My entree was veal marsala with a side of spaghetti in a cream sauce - fantastic. The spaghetti was al dente and the perfect amount of sauce - not drowning in it - just right. My veal was also very delicious. Their bread is also fantastic. The boys ordered pizza - mediocre at best. My wife ordered chicken piccatta. She was very disappointed with her order. The chicken appeared deep fried. It was similar to fried chicken soaked in lemon sauce. She barely touched her meal.

Dined twice, once for dinner and then brunch. We were more impressed with dinner, great wine and LOVED the jalapeno bread. For brunch, we were under the impression it would be a buffet and it was not. Their cinnamon rolls were very good. Nonetheless, we would dine again.

Of the 8 restaurants we tried on our recent trip to Wailea, this was by far the most disappointing for the price. I would not go back nor recommend it. Our group of 5 all agreed. Service was fair to poor. The food, (5 different entrées) was bland and not flavorful. The price was high and not at all worth the overall experience. Our group is very low maintenance, and we were not at all impressed. There are so many better restaurants I'm suprised it's still in business. I think its excellent location in the Shops at Wailea keeps people walking in the door.

This was my second time at this Longhi's location. As with the first, the food was good. The service was good but.... My son ordered Eggplant Parm but received Chicken Marsala. Both were choices on the prix fixe menu. (I guess the waiter got mixed up.) He said it was one of the best Marsala's he's had but... Good thing he's not a vegetarian! My meal was good, too. Tender, flavorful steak. My husband had seafood over linguine and enjoyed it also. As with most restaurants on Maui, Longhi's is kind of pricey. It's a lovely place. If the condos didn't block the view it would be truly magnificent. As it was Mother's Day, they were giving a rose to all the women. Nice touch.

While staying at the Marriott Beach Resort, we found Longhi's. Without having no previous experience with your restaurant, we were pleasantly surprised! One evening we came for happy hour, another 2 times for dinner. The food was out of this world good and prepared to perfection! We enjoyed Ian and Andrea on 2 of our visits and found them to be excellent. Ian was very informative on both the menu selections and Longhi's history. Andrea was excellent as well. She actually repositioned an umbrella to help us dine in comfort. We're telling everyone we know about Longhi's, and we'll be dining with you guys whenever we're in the area!

My husband and I came to Maui for the first time and were looking for a place to have dinner after our long flight. This place didn't disappoint!! The ahi tuna is great and the lobster risotto Is the best ice ever had. The spicy mussels are a must!! Loaded with flavor, each bite is amazing. We ended up coming here for breakfast a couple days later. The crab eggs Benedict was outstanding and the crab omelet was well prepared. I have no doubt that whatever you order it will be great! I plan on returning during my next trip to Maui!

We definitely enjoy our dinner. We were in search of great seafood in the neighbourhood near our hotel. Longhi just took us a five minutes walk from our hotel. A little pity was that the only 3lbs lobster was sold out and we could only had the 1lbs for our group of four. The server was extremely helpful to help us to make choice from the menu. We did enjoy the food the mood and the service here.

We have eaten at many great restaurants around the world. We have paid far less for far better food. The entire Wailea area is overpriced for food in general but even given the inflated prices I would've expected more. We will not be returning to Longhi's until they raise the quality of their food back to their former glory.
