Longhi's Ala MoanaMuch better service!Service had been on a downward slope over the past few months, even though the food was always incredibly delicious. However, our waiter on my most recent visit, Adrian, was spectacular! He was polite, attentive, and knowledgeable. He made excellent recommendations throughout the meal and ensured that we received each course in a timely manner. Saturday night was hopping, but the servers, and kitchen got it right. Try the shrimp and scallops in a butter-lemon sauce. Simple-yes, but hard to do properly, these guys have it down. Someone standing by the bar walked past to the kitchen, About five minutes later the hostess came out of the kitchen and greeted us. Happy to know that they had my reservation and remembered my note that I attached to the reservation. They were riding on their early reputation and slipped in Lahaina and have become a "tourist" restaurant and not catering to a return crowd. This restuarant in Ala Moana is back to being a restaurant that features outstanding food, fresh fish, great preparations and caters to a returning crowd rather than a "one" shot tourist trade.
