  • "Not a lot of good restaurants at a mall. This is the exception. Good food, service and GREAT VIEW!"

  • "Complimentary Ice-cream given to the birthday celebrant which was a nice touch. This is a "go to" place for my husband's birthday, his favorite!"

  • "Longhi's is a great place for business dining. The bar is a pleasant place to wait for a guest. It is quiet enough to talk and the food is great. Good selection for someone trying to watch his diet. I will certainly be back."

  • "Food and service is very good. We enjoyed the nice atmosphere at open terrace table, viewing Hilton's Friday Fireworks. Price is reasonable too."

  • "Had Father's Day breakfast at 9 a.m. Both hubby and I had the eggs benedict. He had the standard Canadian bacon, etc. and I had the crab cake version. My crab cakes were excellent - comprised of real crab and hardly any fillers. The down side was that the benedict was served with crusty, thick, french bread slices instead of the usual English muffins. My husband said the bread was too "hard". The dish was also served with fried potatoes, a little overdone and tasted like it was "sitting" a while rather than freshly made. Overall, I was satisfied with my dish because the excellent crab cakes made up for the other little negatives. The music played during our meal was irritating, actually detracted from the relaxing venue of Longhi's."

  • "The food is decent, but with the prices, you're really paying more for the view than the food. It's a beautiful view for brunch and a great place to enjoy some food and drinks while you watch the Hilton Friday night fireworks. While I understand wanting to maximize the number of seats, I believe there may have been one table too many in the front and as a result some of the tables are situated a little too closely to one another. Several times, I was inadvertently elbowed in the back by the lady sitting at the next table and a few times my elbow clipped her elbow while we were eating. But overall, Longhi's is a nice place to go for taking in the view."

  • "We decided to try Longhis for dinner after enjoying their breakfast. It was very disappointing. We were one of maybe 4 tables in the entire restaurant yet it took our server quite a while to greet us and take our drink orders. I ordered the Prime New York steak medium rare with mushrooms. My steak came out with barely any pink inside and it seemed like the entire plate had been sitting under the hot lamp for too long. The mushrooms were greasy and mushy. We ordered a side of green beans. They were also super oily and say in their own grease. My iced tea sat empty for at least 10 minutes while our server chatted with some coworkers. He seemed very disinterested in our business. Overall a very lousy experience."

  • "I was surprised that the brunch menu is reasonably priced. My mom and I had blueberry pancakes and the crab cake benedict. We were both very pleased. Be aware that if you go during happy hour it is extremely loud. Also dinner is expensive (but also yummy-the free pizza bread is ONO!!). "

  • "It is nice to know that Longhi's had not changed over the years . . . the food and the ambience still great as my friend and I sat outdoors and chatted for hours! Overall, it was a very pleasant brunch for both of us. Thank you, Longhi's! "

  • "Normally I go there for breakfast or brunch when most popular places in the neighborhood have a long wait. I was warned by my friend who went to Longhi's a few times with me. He said that he could smell the dirty dishes they use and the poor quality of the lobseter they use for the lobster egg benedict. This time as I sat down with my friends and waited for the ice water. I saw our wait person scratching off something off the rim of a glass. As soon as he saw my reaction on my face, he switched that glass with a new one. He then brought over the three glasses of water to our table. Should I have not witnessed him doing so, I am pretty sure he was going to serve us with that dirty glass."

  • "Everything was okay, but no wow factor. All of our dishes were soaked in sauces. I sometimes feel this only covers up mediocre food. "

  • "As an appetizer I recommend the Belgain Endive (Unique & delicious salad). Desserts are amazing, great variety to choose from. The outdoor balcony seating is a delight! Must try this place if you haven't yet!"

  • "food was great, atmosphere was loud, service was a little slow but it was Mothers Day. better directions for how to get to the restaurant would be good to post as Ala Moana is now like a maze. would have been much easier to find if they had said somewhere they had a dedicated elevator located by Mortons"

  • "The food was just okay. My husband ordered a seafood pasta and was underwhelmed. Even less impressed when we got the bill and the so-so pasta was $40. I ordered the Longhi's salad and it was good, but nothing special. Ordered the portobello mushroom appetizer and enjoyed it. The bread may have been my favorite part of the meal... a combination of jalapeno cheese bread and a pizza style cheese bread. The staff was all very nice and once we got our waitress to start serving us, she was delightful. We were not happy to sit at the table for 15 minutes before she came to our table (after we flagged down a busser and asked who our waitress was...). That said, I'd still probably go back. Great view and all the staff was very nice. "

  • "Was very disappointed with my visit here on Mother's Day. I understand the restaurant is busy but I genuinely couldn't believe the awful service we received.Took 10 minutes for the server to even come by to say hi or anything at all. When he came he dropped waters off and just asked if we were ready. He pretty disappeared for the rest of our meal. After 10 minutes of being done eating we wanted to see the dessert menu and couldn't find him. When he finally arrives he drops off our check, without offering us any dessert. We said we wanted to get dessert and he didn't apologize for assuming or anything and just said "oh okay" and walked away. The food was alright but the service definitely ruined it for us. "

  • "Went for Mother's Day brunch. Many good reviews of eggs Benedict(2/3 of menu). This shouldn't be called eggs Benedict. Thick hard to cut toast vice English muffin and fully cooked egg yolks??!!"

  • "I brought one of my friends to Longhi's for the first time and she was thrilled with her meal. The food was delicious, as usual. The service was absolutely above and beyond. The waiters and busboys were extremely attentive throughout the meal. We really enjoyed everything. Thank you!"

  • "Enjoyed the Veal Piccata and the Shrimp & Scallop Longhi, they were both very well prepared. This restaurant is one of the few where I feel I can trust the piccata preparation--they have never failed me."

  • "We made reservations and were at the restaurant early. We were virtually ignored the entire night. 5 different people wandered by our table but no one intent on service. It took forever to get our bill at the end of the meal. The place was not busy so no excuse for the poor treatment we received. The food was good but not worth putting up with the 'who cares' service. I will spend my several hundred dollars elsewhere!"

  • "The food was fine, but very overpriced. There was nothing special about the food. It was quite ordinary. The salad was the best."

  • "This is an impressive place to take out of town visitors around sunset. Open air and a lovely view of the marina make for a memorable island experience. Great ambiance for a relaxed happy hour. The pricey menu can be tricky because everything is served ala carte and sides and pastas are designed to be shared family style. Entrees come without any sides and even if sides were included, there is not a potato to be had. A lengthy list of pastas is all off the menu and only recited by your waitperson--way too many to remember, especially if you are having cocktails. "

  • "Decent service but has turned into a bit of a tourist rip-off. Example: chicken Parmesan is $27! Two breasts, BUT, nothing with it at all; a side if pasta is an ADDITIONAL $9!!! Great pizza bread free with food, but two parms and a side veg with two iced teas, $71. You decide. I wouldn't return. Food, average. "

  • "If you want to impress first time visitors to Hawaii, this is the restaurant to bring them. Most like Italian food so it's safe to invite them here, presently surprised that food is pretty good, recommend sharing pasta, pizza & salad to enjoy sampling. Service was great, listens to your needs and tries to satisfy your dining experience. But the best part of dining here is the view of Ala Moana Park and the ocean from anywhere you're seated. This is Hawaii - and anybody you bring here to dine will fall in love with Hawaii. Surprisingly, for all this, the price was reasonable. I always get big points for bringing my guests here for lunch."
