It is quiet and cozy. We have always found the wait staff to be friend.y, helpful and efficient. The menu has something for everyone and the prices are reasonable. I had the sautéed sea food and it was excellent, my wife had salmon which was perfect. The portions are generous yet not over the top.

The prices are very reasonable and the portions are huge! The rewards program they have for frequent diners is a great incentive. At our last visit the chef himself came to our table which is certainly rare. We enjoy that it isn't right in downtown Saratoga, therefore avoiding the traffic and parking situation downtown. Despite being Extremely busy with big gatherings upstairs, and a prom taking place on the main floor, we were seated right on time. The service was excellent and the food was perfect. Fresh, good quality meat, fish dishes and hearty portions. We sat in the cellar area which was cozy yet comfy. It was a great dining experience overall. I love their food and service and find items on the menu that other restaurants may not have. The ambiance is to our liking as well as the location. I am willing to pay a bit more for any product or service I enjoy, and Longfellows is on the top of our dining preferences. Most of us were in the mood for good seafood and boy did we hit the jackpot. Salmon and sea bass were cooked to perfection and so tasty. Also enjoyed the clam chowder and scallops as the appetizer. Oh and I can't forget the mud sundae- incredible way to top off the delicious dinner.

The food was not outstanding, but it was good. My fish was very over salted (and I'm definitely a salt lover). I sent it back and was happy to share with my husband from what he couldn't eat. (HUGE portions) They told me they would take it off of our bill and send out a new one for me to eat or take home. The to go portion was much better seasoned. The wait staff and the manager that came out to speak with me were all wonderful. The ambiance was my favorite part. So many cool things to look at. We went for restaurant week on a Saturday night and even though it was very busy our reservations were honored on time and everything was terrific. First time there for our friends who are big OBI fans. They loved it and will be going back as we will. We ordered three appetizers which was plenty for our table of 5. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the portions were very generous. Ive been here many times and I was not disappointed.
