Our waiter offered to make a special appetizer plate that allowed the 4 of us to taste everything, and the Kangaroo nachos and Elk Sliders were everything we'd hoped for! Highly recommend ordering the Jalapeno Margarita to accompany them, if you don't mind spicy! The poblano pepper and snapper entrees were exceptional; the duck and quail were good, but perhaps just not my taste. The noise level, however, was such that the couple next to me celebrating an anniversary had to keep saying "What did you say?" to their spouse, and we found the noise level challenging for conversation as well. With reservations we were seated immediately, and the staff brought thier A game. The menu offered a wonderful assortment of appetizers, and when we had a hard time deciding, a mixed plate was offered. The main course selections were diverse and we selected the signature garlic stuffed sirloin. With the old saying that everything is bigger in Texas, we were not disappointed. The steak was cut and cooked to perfection, an admirable task considering the thickness of the steak. The sausage was nice sausage and didn't taste weird as I thought it might. The elk was wonderful. Had the waygu skirt steak which was very flavorful and tender, considering it was skirt, but being waygu more than compensated. All the food was perfectly seasoned, very impressive. Always wanted to eat at Tim Love's after seeing him on tv. The food he made always looked good and sounded good. It did not disappoint. Thanks, Tim!

I love how it doesn't seat many people, this keeps it very private feeling. The waiter was so kind and so helpful to us in choosing our menu since it was our first time. Since we do not drink and they wanted to offer us a champagne for our anniversary but we declined, they offered us a free dessert! I have already told four people about this place and they are planning to make reservations to come enjoy!
