  • "A nice, quiet, romantic restaurant for a special occasion. We have only eaten dinner there but im sure the brunch would be wonderful also. We cant hardly wait to go again."

  • "Lone Wolf had a very diverse menu from gourmet burgers to fine dining choices. Service was excellent and a great wine list. Even though the menu is very upscale dress code was casual which worked well with the casino. Highly recommend trying out this dining experience for culinary delight."

  • "We recently dined at the Lone Wolf for the 4th time and it was a wonderful dining experience as usual. The service provided by Shirley was top notch and the menu always seems to have something different each time. A bonus is that the appetizers are nicely portioned allowing a foursome to enjoy one without someone not getting much, (Bacon Wrapped Shrimp is a great choice). All in all, it's great for a couple or a party of 12...we will be back."

  • "My husband and I were staying at the RV park. We decided to go out for dinner and chose the Lone Wolf. The food was wonderful and the service was outstanding. The waiter could not have been nicer or more helpful in assisting us in out dining choices. "

  • "Yep. No other flavor in the chicken except too sweet. Also 2 thighs for $17.00. Not a good deal. I like thighs and these were tender but the meat had no other flavor or spices. The did let me substitute the noodles for a side of Bacon green beans which were perfectly crispy and full of bacon."

  • "Six locals had dinner there and we were disappointed. 3 ordered hamburgers which they said were dry and tasteless. I ordered fish tacos and crab and shrimp salad which I loved. Another lady has many allergies and it's difficult for her to go out. She ordered the spinach salad which she said looked good. It was such a small amount I'm sure she went home and had something else to eat. Another ordered the special pizza which he said was very good. 4 ordered mud pie, I ordered crème brulee which I loved. "

  • "This was to be a special occasion, our 37th wedding anniversary. My sea Bass came out RAW, still frozen in the middle! My wife's Duck was raw in the middle also. Waiter was very nice about switching Bass for Duck and quickly served meal. We took remaining Duck home and cooked it properly. We were given local discount which helped a little but meal was over-priced. We are left with a very bad impression as to food. Having dined at many four star restaurants over the years we were greatly disappointed in Lone Wolf."

  • "We LOVE the new Lone Wolf Restaurant. Food is excellent, service has always been attentive and good. The lounge really needs to upgrade their beers. Bud, seriously. Need to stock a Hef on tap and some Honey Jack please. This is a great neighborhood gem for us. We are from Manteca and finding a really good place to eat not surrounded by kids and has really good food for a really GOOD price makes this our favorite restaurant. Consistent all the way around. Relaxing and not loud or filled with kids. "

  • "The service was top-notch. All the staff was friendly and prompt. The atmosphere was so comfortable! And the food! Wow! Portions were plentiful, beautifully presented and so delicious. Since there were 4 in our party and we all ordered a different meal, we shared some so I got to taste all 4 menu items, and each was superb. We also had 4 different desserts - and tasted all 4. Wonderful! We found the prices very reasonable, too. Overall, a most pleasant dining experience."

  • "What great food - the filet mignon melted in my mouth, the spinach was delicious and a healthy food choice. Took an order of gumbo home - wow!!"

  • "The restaurant's ambience is great. The wait staff are attentive and friendly. Unfortunately, the kitchen mixed up my order and I was served the potato and vegetables while my steak was being cooked. By the time it was ready I was full and my husband had finished his dinner. We just took the steak home. It is still a nice place but make sure your server repeats your order back to you. They did give us a dessert to make up for it."

  • "Our group of 5 had a good cross section of meat and seafood. Each commented on the excellent preparation, presentation and taste. I had the filet, which was excellent, though rather small for $38.00. In general, the menu has gotten more expensive recently. But you can always expect very good food from an ever changing and improving menu."

  • "The chef at lone wolf creates nice, clean flavor combinations using local ingredients. Everything is prepared excellently and not over the top with fru fru that takes away or overpowers the fresh ingredients. Ribs are excellent!"

  • "i was not expecting the outstanding experience, from start to finish, that we had at Lone Wolf. Our server helped my vegan companion select adaptable items from the menu, and I ordered scallops along with a garden salad and broccolini. "Heavenly" was the consensus as we dined in the lovely setting with a view of the foothills."

  • "We went to Lone Wolf for our 37th wedding anniversary. Our waitress was friendly, but, not very attentive. We ate at 5:30 PM so the restaurant was not busy. My wife ordered the butternut squash ravioli and I had the pot roast. Neither was very good. The ravioli had very little flavor and the pot roast was over cooked and dry. I ordered a Margarita for my wife and a glass of wine for me. The Margarita had very little alcohol and my glass of wine was served in a very small glass, and it was only half full. The wine was $7 and the Margarita was $9. It took and hour for us to be served and eat our dinner. For a very slow restaurant, we felt that was too long to eat."

  • "Online menu & actual restaurant menu totally different. Very disappointed that rack of lamb has been replaced. While the chef has the option of changing and/or replacing the food items, sometimes changes are not good. The atmosphere of the new location is too modern - the old location provided a better ambiance & intimacy. In our opinion, the music was way to loud and not really appropriate for dining."

  • "Good Morning, We enjoyed eating dinner at the Lone Wolf Saturday evening. There were 4 in our party, and all of us enjoyed the food, and the atmosphere. I plan on returning on April 18th with four friends for dinner before the concert."

  • "When you can go to dinner, be so pleased with EVERYTHING that your ONLY comment is that you thought having the bread wrapped in a paper product instead of a cloth, and that the music didn't seem appropriate for a fine dining restaurant...they did GOOD! Food was great, want to go back and try their steaks...service was great, etc etc! Please, you didn't like the paper on the bread...pretty "small potatoes" when compared with everything that was VERY GOOD!!! lol"

  • "We were thrilled. Quiet, very nice inside, wonderful view from our table. The food was more than we expected, it was all very good. Well worth the prices, very reasonable and beautiful plates of food. The pizza is a must try. The ribs were so good, we are looking forward to our next visit to try more on the menu. Thank you Lone Wolf. The improvements, and upgrades to the restaurant are lovely. We will be returning. The wait person was very good and made sure we had the best seat in the house, and took care of uwell. He did his job!!, well and treated us as he would want to be waited on. (in my opinion), this was very refreshing."

  • "I booked this dinner as a very special birthday dinner for my husband 1-31-2014 - I even noted in the special remarks that it was a special day. We were seated quickly, and order taken - nothing special. Waitress was less than inviting and seemed unhappy with her job, often leaving us unattended and not refilling drinks but once before the meal was brought. My husband ordered the Filet Mignon, while they cooked it to the requested amount the meat had been seared top & bottom and actually had a burnt charcoal flavor that wasnt pleasant at all, the sides were great and the chop salad and the Chicken Marsala was delicious. I was sadly disappointed that no effort of the staff was given to bring my husband a special dessert at least. 2 out 10."

  • "Lone Wolf Restaurant is one of Amador County's premier restaurants. It has become my go-to place for intimate celebrations and large group gatherings. The food is really good and my personal goal is to go back and try everything on the menu. So far I can highly recommend the bacon-wrapped shrimp appetizer and the wild mushroom pizza...divine! I have tried the cedar plank salmon and a special of the day sea bass and both were amazing. I also recommend the pastas. Be careful and don't eat too much because you have to save room for dessert. The chocolate decadence cake is superb and the chocolate mud pie was to die for. I'm going back soon with a large group and I can't wait to try something new. The waitstaff are terrific, too...GO!"

  • "Promptly seated. Greeted by server almost immediately. Offered complimentary wine. Fish taco appetizer was amazing. Steak was cooked exactly as requested. All the food was piping hot, no cold side dishes. Room was quiet and warm, no A/C vent freezing us out. Unique wall fireplace must be twelve feet long and can be enjoyed from most seating arrangements. This was a special dinner that exceeded our expectations and deserves the highest reccomendation."

  • "For our 50th anniversary we were at a loss for a nice place to celebrate the event. As there is a dearth of upscale restaurants here in the northern California foothills we were faced with few choices that did not involve a long drive. We opted for the Lone Wolf restaurant at Jackson Rancheria Casino. What a great choice! Overall ambiance was perfect for our occasion...classy but not stuffy. For our main courses, my wife opted for seared scallops and I opted for a New York strip steak. Both meals were excellent. The scallops were seared perfectly and my steak was cooked to the perfect temperature. The parmesan polenta accompanying my steak was the best I've ever had. Service was outstanding in every respect."
