  • "My friend and I drove from Grass Valley for Easter brunch. I had been there for lunch several times but had never been to brunch. It was outstanding. The choices were amazing and every thing we had was special. It was amazing and we will certainly come for brunch again.Thank you! Kathy"

  • "A view of Lake Tahoe and snow-covered mountains, a great lunch, a good glass of wine, and a great lunch companion--just about the best! I had crab cakes with fries--large and crispy on the outside. My companion had sea bass on a bed of mashed potatoes and squash. We also enjoyed using the provided tablet to select our wine. Just a click on a particular bottle or glass would bring up a full description--very cool. The service was superb--very attentive without being hovering."

  • "This was where we celebrated our wedding dinner, 44 years ago. We've returned nearly annually since then - except when living on East Coast or in Europe, or when traveling."

  • "We have dined here several times, usually for lunch. It is located right on the north shore of Lake Tahoe, just a few feet from shore. The view extends the full 25 mile length of the lake and is spectacular. Personnel are efficient and friendly. The food is excellent and well presented. A very enjoyable experience always."

  • "Lone Eage Grille is located on the beachfront of Lake Tahoe, which provides most seating areas with gorgeous lake and mountain views. I took advantage of the Sunset Dinner deal, which provided 3 courses for a fixed price of $40. I was thoroughly pleased with the taste, quality, and portion size of my meal. Several other people in my party ordered off of the regular menu and were equally pleased with their choices. The wine list was extensive, varied, and included one of my favorite barberas. There was also a musician playing in the bar that could be heard in the dining room. He was excellent and at just the right level of volume to not interfere with conversation. We will definitely return for food, drinks, bonfires, and beach this summer!"

  • "This is by far the best Lakefront Dining in Incline. Make sure and request "The Eagles Nest!" You won't be dissapointed! The bar and firepit area outside are quite nice for happy hour or pre-dinner cocktails. Enjoy!"

  • "We dined there on our last night in Tahoe and received the full treatment. I told them it was my in laws visiting from Ireland last night there in Tahoe and we were celebrating. From beginning to end they gave us a fabulous table, they had the chef come speak to us after dinner and just made my mother in law feel so special. Thankyou for a wonderful time. We will be back."

  • "We have had a cabin in Incline for years and I had never considered going for lunch. What a treat! A girlfriend and I went on a beautiful run and then headed over for lunch. We felt so underdressed in our running clothes given how beautiful the restaurant is but no one batted an eye - it's Tahoe! The staff was friendly and attentive and the view along with sitting next to the fireplace was so perfect. We had the potato leek soup, and the scallop salad - both excellent."

  • "We sat at the window over looking beautiful lake tahoe. Service was great. My husband had new york steak and shredded brussels sprouts. The steak was at least 3 in. thick, absolutely delicious!! The sprouts were a wonderful surprise! For dessert they brought him a baked alaska, on the house! I had sea bass that was juicy and done perfect! We walked all around the lake after lunch. We will go back. My only disappointment was the wine list for a bottle. No choices in the 30.00- 40.00 or even 50.00 range."

  • "The food was excellent and the view was beautiful. My husband and I went for our 3 year anniversary and the staff were very thoughtful and attentive. They ensured we had a perfect view of the lake during sunset and we even received a complimentary dessert. The wine list was fabulous. The restaurant has nice ambiance. A lodge feel with a big fireplace. Cozy and romantic. There is also a nice bar/ lounge area with great happy hour deals and live music. We will definitely be back!"

  • "The view is wonderful but way overpriced. The service was good though the waitress seemed to point out the most expensive items as her favorites. The wine list was a bit disappointing as most the options were several hundred dollars."

  • "We don't often eat out when were in Tahoe but we do have a few favorites. Lone eagle is tops the nice lunch or dinner. The food has never been less than fantastic and you can't beat the views. We had two staff waiting in us and were very attentive to our needs. Thru were not busy on a Tuesday lunch but even when they are busy the service has always been great. We couldn't decide which dessert to order so they brought both and comped one! That was a nice touch. Can't wait to go back."

  • "My dining experience was very nice, the waitress as well as the back waiter was very attentive. Of course the food was delicious, my scallops were fantastic and my husband said the cioppino was quite flavorful. The ambience was so Tahoe and the lake just beautiful as always. My only comment would be that the wait area was quite small. We had reservations and we were early and they sat us right away but quite a few people were waiting so I sat by the elevator while my husband went to the bar and bought drinks. Overall we had a nice night with delicious food and a nice surprise from the waitress when we said we were from Reno, she gave us the locals discount."

  • "We dined at Lone Eagle Grill for my fiancé's birthday while staying at the Hyatt Regency. The ambience was wonderful, the good was terrific and the service was 5 stars +++. We had dined here before but the new menu was awesome with plenty of selections for myself, my fiancé and his two children. We all loved our entrees and we're extremely happy with the service we received."

  • "it's a little pricey but you can't beat the service and ambiance. We had 6 people and everyone was happy with their dish. The only reason I have it a 4 for food because I was just ok on the side dishes. We ordered the au gratin potatoes and brussel sprouts. In terms of service it was over the top. Everyone there was very friendly and we received a visit from the chef to make sure everything was to our liking. Nice touch!"

  • "Beautiful room beautiful view - but no brunch on sundays?....super weak ! took out of town family for after wedding brunch - very heavy lunch menu :( you would hink that the flagship restaurant of an exclusive resort with lake tahoe frontage would have a few brunch items on sunday ! they used to have an amazing brunch !!! could explain why this lovely spot was a ghost town!"

  • "The food & view were great. The service was not attentive. Slow bring drinks & refilling water considering waiter & assistant.asked for mustard and got it when sandwich was 90% eaten! not the service I expect from an upscale restaurant."

  • "We celebrated my daughters birthday and engagement here and it was wonderful. They made it all so much more special for having been there. The wine list is incredible and the wine steward was very helpful. The food was fantastic and the wait staff was so accomadating. They had great see through fireplaces that went from the bar to the restaraunt, where a guitar player was playing amazing music that cam through so soft and sweet. It was overall a great find!"

  • "We stayed at the Hyatt resort and saved this place for dinner on the last night since the reviews the restaurant received were very mixed. We had a late dinner which was probably better as the restaurant was less busy. Our table by the window would have been perfect in the day, but at night we looked out to a roaring fire in the outdoor pit. Our servers were very attentive and anticipated all our needs, except for wine pours. Coming from CA, we were delighted to see foie gras on the menu and it was worth sharing just for that little bit of sweet richness. The lamb chops were cooked to perfection and was a really great piece of meat. Our sides of carrots and corn kernel was wiped clean too. Were we just lucky? We don't think so!"

  • "We have been to Lone Eagle 5-7 times over the past two years, and the last two times, it has been over $500, for the two of us, and the last time $530 for the 4 of us, because my daughter bought the round of drinks in the bar, so that was not included. I can definitely afford it, it's just, am I saving enough for retirement or not? :-) Heck I saw the bill and laughed. My daughter's A La Carte 6 oz. Filet was $46 !! I wonder now what the 10 oz. Filet went for? The food and wine is great, and the service is great, but bring lots of money."

  • "We've been consistently disappointed over the years in this place. They want to be a high end, top-notch place but usually fail. we heard they had a new chef and decided to try it again. The food was actually very good. Nice menu, a lot of sides to choose from, and the food was cooked perfectly. The service, on the other hand, was amateurish. Within the first 5 minutes, we were introduced, by name, to 3 different people, our waitress, the busboy, and the sommelier. Totally unnecessary and annoying. Out of the 3, the sommelier was the only one with any type of experience. the waitress and busboy, while nice, had no clue what they were doing. Will we go back? Probably, but not in a rush."

  • "Associated with the Hyatt Hotel, on the north shore of Lake Tahoe. Good views of the lake during daylight hours. Expensive but received fair value. A place to celebrate a special occasion between two people. We go to this restaurant once a year and have consistently received good food and service. The bar offers a great setting for afternoon relaxation."
