The wait service started a bit rough, the wait staff was overloaded due to several larger parties (golfers) and some overly demanding customers. Our waiter said it was unusually busy for a Sunday night. It took a while to order our meal, though the drinks and bread helped bridge the gap. For appetizers, we ordered the stuffed peppers (excellent) and caprese salad (average). For dinner, we had the lobster ravioli (very good) and the pork osso buco (excellent). The little one ordered the pasta/meatballs and ate all of it (must have been good). Everything was delivered timely and hot. We ordered the chocolate cake slice to go. Has the neighborhood, "Little Italy" ambiance we know from up north. Jeff, our waiter, welcomed us and treated us like regulars, even though this was our first visit. Took plenty of time to explain the specials, and was very attentive, but not intrusive during the meal. Appetizers and meals were delivered in a timely manner, not rushed, and were HOT (a MUST for me). We all had specials which were outstanding. All six of us agreed that Lombardo's was one of the best Italian restaurants we had experienced in the three years we lived in the area. I will gladly return again. The staff is knowledgeable and very friendly. They also pay great attention to detail. It is the only place I have ever eaten that I had absolutely no complaints about.
