"I wouldn't call this place GOURMET but did find the tastes of the food really interesting. A good place for different seafood appetizers. Interesting combinations... like a salmon app with pistachios and some secret sauce. Wish they had more savory desserts or small bites to go with wine (instead of the big sweets...)"

"Everything we ordered was each it's own delightful experience: roast beets, mexiterranian cheese fondue, arugula salad, pistachio salmon. The wine list is very well-matched to the menu. The ambiance is intimate, fun, artsy, and energetic. Great date spot. There are 2 connected rooms: the entrance room is very small with display kitchen, 6-8 small tables, and the back room sports a long dinner bar with tables along the adjoining wall. I live in the neighborhood and have been numerous times. The front room has a more romantic feel. Both rooms are lively, inviting spaces. There are also a small handful of outdoor sidewalk tables. Add all this to being located directly in the heart of the Valencia night scene."

"It's a fun spot, and there are many plates to try. My only complaint was that some of the food was a little bland and the fondue was difficult to eat because the cheese hardened instantly. The sangria was good and I would be willing to try it again if I'm in the area."

"I love this place! It's been my new favorite since I discovered it over a year ago. Must haves include the brussel sprouts, ceviche, crab tostadas, and the flan for dessert! YUM! Great service and good wine selections."

"Absolutely delicious food, and very reasonably priced. The service was also first-rate. The space is pretty small and diners are crammed in tightly, so it's not a great place for private conversation, or for dining with a large group, particularly on a Friday or Saturday night."

"Lolo's has quickly become a facvorite for us in SF. The Tapas menu is delicious and I like the fact that some of the favorites always stay on the menu, while new items make it on periodically. It is unpretentious, with a great ambiance and vidrant energy, radiating both from the staff and the guests."
