A word from Lola's on Harrison
Opened in 2007, it remains a bastion of contemporary, American, upscale comfort food. Recently, the restaurant was taken over by Chef Bob Mignola, whose resume includes Smith & Wollensky in Miami Beach and The Post House in Manhattan. Mignola has worked with renowned Chef's David Burke, Bobby Flay & Michelle Bernstein. Mignola is breathing new life into this already outstanding dining establishment.

From the extraordinary boutique wine list, the seemingly endless selection of craft beers, an imaginative and alluring cocktail menu, to the offerings of artfully prepared cuisine, no step has been missed in selecting and preparing the finest and freshest of ingredients. Mignola will be showing off his culinary talents by introducing specials to compliment Lola's favorite selections such as the Coca Cola® Short Ribs and the Crab Cakes, which remain on the menu.

We had not been to Lolas since the restaurant changed hands but our Host and Waiter, Adrian and Julian happened to be the same stafff we had had on our previous visit. They provided us and from what we overheard, eveyone else with outstanding service! We were treated just as nicely as regulars and felt quite at home. The food was great as was the wine selection. We enjoyed everything about our experience from the minute we walked in till we left. Good food, and wine, good prices and a very pleasant ambience and outgoing and friendly staff says volumes about Lolas! We'll be back very soon!

2013 New Years eve at Lola's was GREAT!. It was the standard menu with several wonderful specials. My favorite bartender Martin was there. is man makes the BEST MARTINIS in Broward. We started our evening with a round of Martini's, and then we ordered our starters. Onion soup that was divine. WE had one Cesar and two wedges. All were terrific. The highlight of the evening went to my husbands steak. Rib steak, Prime meat, and those who like meat, said it was the top they have tasted in a long time. The Coco Cola ribs were finger licking good, and the onion rings were just he way I love them. . The only thing that was different, was that there was no crowd at the bar. FYI This place has a great HAPPY HOUR.

I choose this restaurant because A. It was a 1,000 point dinner, B. It had good reviews and C. It was a dinner choice award winner. The restaurant is a small gem in a soon to be bustling downtown district in hollywood. The food and service was good, however there where a few things I did not like. I had my mouth ready to taste the coca cola ribs, but apparently there was a huge party that came in earlier and ordered up all the ribs..and wine by glass price.

Everything about Lola/s was great. The drinks were reasonably priced and a good size. The chic decor was very appealing. The service was professional but friendly. Portions were good -sized and easy to share. The grouper was delicious with a little bit of a kick and an Asian flair. The short ribs were excellent and the fried onion rings were outrageous! We loved this place!

Overall, this was a very good find. We are vacationing in the Hollywood area and go out frequently. Lola's was very convenient with good food and service. One of our guests had the Veal Chop which he did not enjoy but he ordered it too well done which likely was the problem. Otherwise, everyone else enjoyed. The Caesar salad was very good but only if you like a lot of dressing otherwise ask them to go easy on it. The Branzeno was very good. We would return.

With a holiday party going on, Lola's was louder than usual, but the food was the same great cuisine that we've come to rely on; and the servers were as attentive as ever. This is hands-down the best food we've found in East Hollywood. We love the crabcake, and the grouper, salmon and branzino entrees are all wonderful.

I do love Lola's. Always tell visiting friends it is a good choice. This last time went with picky European couple . Our problem was that there was a noisy holiday group in the room playing "Family Feud" The food and service were very good as usual and my friends approval was high, but the noise did detract.wouldn't stop me from going back. The veal chop is a winner.

The hours are a little weird but, it's a nice place to dine. The lighting could be a little brighter as well. Another minor complaint was that we had a "private" party and we were placed in the middle of the front entry way. Food is always good although we had a couple of minor mishaps. The price could be a tad better as well. As side from that, I enjoy eating and having our staff events yearly there.

We had seen the place get great reviewsin the papers and on "Check Please" but since we didn't sample the dinner entrees we can only recommend the bar. Regulars sitting near us were mourning the departure of the long time chef but they were coming back so I will to on another night when I'm hungry enough for a real dinner.

We find it a good place for an intimate couples conversation, but Lola's is also a good place to bring business associates for good food in an atmosphere that's attractive without being pretentious.

We like Lola's, having found it the best fine dining on the East side of Hollywood. We'd not visited in several weeks due to my travel schedule, and we were pleased to find simple and delicious variations on our favorites. When I say variations, I mean for example, a chance from saffron to forbidden rice and different veggies accompanying the Branzino (which is wonderful). Lola's continues to be our favorite place to eat in this neighborhood.

We have dined at LOLA'S many times, this time was exceptional. Maybe it was the server, but everything was at the top of it's game. We ordered a bottle of wine instead of having coctails at the bar. WE stated with the blue cheese special and a salad. The cheese was as good as it gets. The salad with roasted beets and goat cheese was a great complement to the cheese special. I had the black grouper, with the red tai sauce, and sticky rice. My husband enjoyed the veal porterhouse chop marsala with portabella mushrooms. We completed our meal with the OVER THE TOP KEY LIME PIE. Finger licking good. Lola's never disappoints. We will be back again very soon.

Lola's is an excellent restaurant with interesting, creative and delicious choices. We were graciously greeted by their manager. Our server was accommodating and attentive. I had their "Angry Shrimp with grits" appetizer. It was fabulous. My companion had their Wedge salad,--which he loved. He had their Chicken Milanese as his entrée,-- and I had their signature Beef Ribs. Both dishes were EXCELLENT. Their DECADENT and delicious chocolate lava/fudge cake,-- was a fitting ending,-- to a very satisfying and enjoyable dinner. Whatever Lola cooks,-- I want to eat!! Lola's is an outstanding restaurant with FAIR prices for QUALITY cuisine and service.

I had the pleasure to dine at Lola's with a friend of mine and had a wonderful time. The food was excellent. We started out with an apetizer which was the warm Brie and had a glass of Riesling wine. It was out of this world. Then I had the coca cola ribs and the presentation was unbelievable and so delicious. They could of put a little more cream corn on the plate. The only thing I did not like was the desert. I had the chocolate cake which was a big disappointment and the coffee was too strong. Otherwise the service and food are well worthwhile and I recommend this place highly to dine.

While we did not enjoy wine with dinner on this occasion, the wine list was quite impressive. And the service was superb, and they even provided us with a free desert to top off our stay.
