  • "I love their Squid Kebabs / Chermoula. Amazing. Great atmosphere. "

  • "Overall the meal was great. The appetizer was just right but the Pork chop main course was so thin and tough! The Lamb main course was awesome and so was the dessert. Great service"

  • "2 Orders of Lola special; one with bacon, the other with sausages. Both delightful. Added an order of freshly cooked donuts; great as well. I look forward to bringing out of state visitors asap. Great food!"

  • "Restaurant Week in Seattle brings out the best and the worst in our dining options. Chefs try to highlight their menu with ingredients that aren't too 'dear' so they can actually make money, waitstaff is taxed by higher than usual crowds, and the entire experience can feel hectic. In spite of these pressures, Lola hit the mark with a terrific menu, highlighted by fork-tender lamb leg and, for dessert, goat cheese turnovers. While the restaurant was busy, the professional staff maintained a sense of composure and calm."

  • "First time to experience Lola after we have heard so much T.D. Saturday brunch very busy, but reservations helped. Wait staff very helpful and open kitchen fun to watch. Very different flavors and approach to the dishes. B. Mary had jalapeno infused vodka. Gravelox had gin & orzo wet cure for the fresh salmon. Salads light and bright. I wish I could have sampled much more, however it does make one want to return. Reasonable prices."

  • "We love Lola! we go for brunch every time we're in Settle and are never disappointed. Don't forget to order the doughnuts!!"
    Dined on 4/12/2014
  • "Food is not worth the price. Pork chops were tough, cupped from over cooking, and salted so heavily you couldn't taste it. It shouldn't have been served. Lamb was cooked well but not exceptional. However it's seasoning just didn't work. Deserts and espresso were surprisingly exceptional. I don't understand the booth seating. It feels like an Denny's. Kills the ambiance. I've been sruggling to find good food here since moving from Chicago... The search will go on, we've got the prices of fine dining but the food and ambiance are just not up to par. I will not return."

  • "High expectations as we arrived at Lola were instantly met by the service we received. Seattle Restaurant Week and my 39th birthday brought us in to the city. We ordered the Leg of Lamb and Pork Chops. Both were minimal to moderate on flavor and the meat for both dishes was extremely fat-laden. Aesthetically speaking, they were beautiful dishes. Our appetizers of freshly grilled pita and roasted red pepper and kalamata olive, fig spread were great. Dessert of Chokolata and Strawberry Rhubarb Sorbet did not disappoint either. However, the main dish left such a sour taste in our mouth we're not likely to go back."

  • "This place is a nice setting with good food. I had the Lola breakfast, which is a standard eggs, potatoes and sausage or bacon. I didn't love the sausage because it was flavored with sage and something else. Other than that, it was great. I do recommend this place."
    Dined on 4/5/2014
  • "Just as bad service can ruin a great meal, great service can make a meal even better. Had the lamb ravioli and the grilled squid to start, both were great, well-balanced dished. We had lamb shank, ling cod and chicken. While the lamb shank was cooked perfectly, the flavors lacked dimension - I needed some sweetness and texture in this dish. The other dishes were great."

  • "Wonderful place for breakfast. Start with the fresh made donuts! Then try the Toms big breakfast. Yes, it has octopus in it but it is really good. The standard breakfast was good two as all the parts were excellent. The house made sausage links were tasty. Recommended."

  • "I love the food, so keep coming back despite it being generally uncomfortable and noisy even when it's not that busy."

  • "We went to Lola before a concert at the Jazz Alley. Our friends ended up being late due to terrible traffic. The staff at Lola were awesome and had no problems accomodating us. They seated my husband and I and once our friends joined us, our food arrived promptly. I had a kebab, pita and dip (the feta/blue cheese/pistachio is AMAZING), and the horta. My husband ate the homemade sausage. The food, as always, was excellent."

  • "Our server was terrible. She made a ton of mistakes and never once apologized or cracked a smile. Food was very good, but wouldn't go back because of the poor service."

  • "I go to Lola FREQUENTLY. It has been my favorite for years. I'm there at least 3 times per month---at least. Over the last 6 months or so I've notice that the service is slipping a bit--more errors with orders, longer waits, fewer refills, etc. I'm not sure what's going on. But something is up."

  • "Always friendly and helpful service Had drinks and appy's Love the way Lola 's and hotel Andra are connected."

  • "We went for an early evening supper. We were promptly seated for our reservation time. Jerry was our server and he was excellent. He helped explain the menu and the multiple unknown terms therein. We ordered a wide variety of appetizers and small plates and split them up amongst us. The Spanish octopus and pork belly appetizer was excellent, the side of Brussel sprouts with apples and bacon was wonderful and they had lamb raviolis that were also excellent. The food, the service and the whole meal was excellent and I would return here again."

  • "While the food was okay it did not come up to our expectations cited in the reviews and on the website....i think it is probably a better bet for lunch rather than dinner. The lamb was good but it was not served with anything and just eating meat qua meat is not always delectable. THe portion, however, was more than adequate and to be commended. All that being said, I might give it another try as the menu is appealing."

  • "Been to Lola a few times now and each time I go it gets better! My husband and I went to breakfast at Lola last saturday and it was one of the best dates we've had in a while. Our server was wonderful, the food was to die for, and the tables were well appointed with plenty of things to fix coffee with, glass water containers, a coffee thermos, as well as nice cloth napkins. The decor of the restaurant is very warm, romantic, and luxurious. This is a place we will return to many times. What a gem to be only 2 blocks away from our home!! I'd highly recommend this restaurant for groups of 2-6 people. Love Lola!"

  • "I love Greek food so I tend to order the same dish every time I visit, the pork skewers with Greek Salad, Tsatziki and Pita. It is alway tasty. My only suggestion to the restaurant is to tone down the garlic in the tsatziki and add lemon juice. It's a bit too thick and the garlic is so strong it lingers on my palette for the rest of the day ;)"

  • "The food came out separately. I had to remind them that I still did not have my food when the other person had theirs for awhile before they brought it out and it was just yogurt!"

  • "We had the best brunch here. the sausages are home made and the smashed potatoes are outstanding. The croissant I had was so flaky I had crumbs everywhere. I have not had lunch or dinner here but will try next time we are in Seattle."

  • "Food at Lola is always superb and it was last Sunday evening. However, the service was terrible. We were at the table and it took several minutes for waiter to come to our table, he took our drink orders, and didn't come back to the table for 15 minutes, and had still not delivered our drinks. He was personable and seemed knowledgable about the menu, but was not attentive and very forgetful. I ordered a second glass of wine which he also had to be reminded to deliver. Not what we have come to expect at Lola's; we will pass it off to a bad day for the waiter, but will definitely be back."

  • "The northwest seafood extravaganza was excellent - very fresh and flavorful, good balance and beautiful. Our waiter was attentive and helpful, with good suggestions."

  • "The food was wonderful. The server was a bit slow, and very uninterested in our table for some reason. Dessert took forever in what had been an only moderately slow dinner service. I'll come back for sure, but I hope I have a different server."

  • "Loved the flavours, darling waitress, nice ambience and awesome food overall. Thank you!!"

  • "This is one of those places where anything you order is going to be good. The omelets, pancakes, egg dishes, hamburger, donuts, it's all yummy. The only thing we found un-edible was the chickpea fries. They tasted like cardboard and should be taken off the menu but you can opt for something else for your side-dish, not a deal breaker."

  • "Lola's always has superb food offered with a tasteful presentation. This time I had two people who had never been there before and they remarked on how wonderful everything from salad through dessert was."
    Dined on 3/7/2014
  • "Second visit to this restaurant, both evenings terrific. We order small plates and share, rather than the main course items. Love everything, but especially the octopus, citrus salad and the sour cherry sorbet is like cherry pie without the crust. Will always try and eat here when in Seattle. Very gluten friendly, many safe items and my daughter has always been fine after eating here."
