A word from Loire Restaurant
The old adage of "good friends, good food and good wine" is a way of life for Jean-Charles Dupoire and Sylvain Brissonnet. It's also the inspiration for Loire restaurant on Harbord street. An elegantly decorated space with a great ambiance and excellent service.
The menu reflects classic French Flavours executed with contemporary techniques, from foie gras and poached grapes to charcuterie made in house, duck a l'orange and delightful pastries.
The wine list offers all the majors appellations of France, Canada and extensive wine choice by the glass.

Both were beautifully prepared, as were our appetizers and dessert. The restaurant was not full (the weather was awful) and one server managed the room with courteous and attentive service. It's a pretty restaurant with attractive lighting and flowers. Altogether it was a most satisfying experience and I strongly recommend Loire. We will certainly return."

  • "Service was fine, not outstanding (stood waiting a little long, took time to get drinks order, but after that no complaints). I guess I had high expectations since it was French food but the beef and pasta was not to my liking, frogs legs a little bland (I don't know if you can make frogs legs with a lot of flavour). Butter for the bread was straight from the fridge so difficult to spread on the bread. Apart from that it was good."
