  • "Perfect location, great setting and delicious lunch all describe the wonderful family brunch we had to celebrate Easter. The service was excellent, the food was wonderful and we truly felt at home. We’ll definitely be back."

  • "Good food overall but service less than stellar. Came by once after a long wait, apologized then left again for a long time and again apologized. Promised he would put our entree order in as soon as he delivered our salads so it would be hot when it arrived. Instead entrees arrived within 2 minutes of our salads and thus entrees were cold once we got to them. But overall food was good. Steak was tasty and cooked perfectly. Potatoes very dry. Clams casino was the best I've ever had."

  • "The son has left "Nikolas". He had been responsible for the truly amazing wine list and created several pre-fixe menus that could be paired with a different glass of wine with each course for an added fee. They don’t have the separate pre-fixe menus now and no wine pairing option, so wines by the glass are not moving as quickly. Even with a wine preservation system, a bottle will go downhill after 5 or so days. Two of our four wines were “tired”. Food was fine, but the experience as a whole was disappointing. This had been one of our favorite splurge restaurants. I asked our waitress if she knew if the son was planning on opening his own place and she gave a rather snide & confusing remark about maybe he should think about going to school."

  • "My husband and I enjoyed our meal and found the appetizers to be both generous and delicious. Out entrees were good but not exceptional. This may be because we ordered from Restaurant Week options rather than from the regular menu. My ricotta cheesecake dessert was a little dry but my husbands unpronounceable dessert (phylo with custard filling) was outstanding. The wine was one we didn't know and was delicious. I wish I had written down the name! One waiter was very effective, the other a tad brisk and brusque which led to a couple errors in our order where were quickly and graciously corrected. All in all, not quite as outstanding as we expected, but we still enjoyed our meals and the ambience and had a lovely evening."

  • "my friend and I love brunch and try somewhere new each month. nikolas seemed perfect as we love new hope. we were very disappointed. the food was only fair and way too overpriced....I mean $15 for a bloody mary!? we are not in manhattan! plus they had beer girls going around pushing a new product. I would expect this at a college bar but not at a place where brunch will run 2 people $120 easy. seemed classless."

  • "Restaurant week in NH - Menu was the most varied of any of the participating restaurants. Our group had 4 seafood entrees and all were excellent, especially the paella. Generous portions, great attention to detail and flavors and variety + very good service on a weeknight. Fire in the fireplace on a cool, rainey night - what more could you ask for? Very enjoyable evening."

  • "Took our daughter to the Logan Inn (Nicolais) for her birthday. Lots if surprises: drinks were half-price in the bar (happy hour was 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm), then they offered three nice menus: 1) $29.95 special restaurant week fix price menu with lots of good choices,2) a second 4 course menu that was priced based upon the entre selected and 3) an ala carte menu. We had the hummus appetizer - large & satisfying, Oysters & a lobster bisque, Cesar salads & broiled salmon & Bronzino - all of the entres were delicious and served hot. We were all so full we didn't have room for our desserts which we all took home. Definitely will return."

  • "Dining room staff was consistently friendly, helpful, and readily answered or promptly verified answers to our food preparation and condiment content questions. Staff's friendly approach is very refreshing vs. attitude sometimes encountered at other high end restaurants, but our server was less expenenced vs. other high end servers. Food preparation and presentation excellent, albeit 4-star not 5-star. Extensive wine list at $10/glass and up. Final cost for $29.95 4-course Restaurant Week menu w/1 glass wine each, tax, and 20% gratuity was $112 for 2. Prix fixe 4-course menu offers entrees $40 and up (plus 1 @ $35), hence prix fixe 4-course dinner for 2 costs $125 and up, i.e., with a single glass of $10 wine and one $40 entree per person."

  • "This putting was a family reunion of sorts. We went on a Saturday night with a party of 6. The food was very good. Service was outstanding and we ended up staying after dinner to enjoy the piano at the bar. Lovely evening overall. They have a large outdoor patio for use during warm weather. The only con was that the parking lot next to the restaurant was full and we had to park several blocks away. It was a warmer evening so he walk wasn't bad."

  • "Decided to try Nicolas for a quick early dinner and a drink, we were not disappointed. First time we sat in the bar beside the fire place, had the Veal, Beef and Pork tenderloin trio and my Wife had the Chicken Pannini sandwich both meals were excellent and we enjoyed our meal in a lively and warm atmosphere. We'll be back for Happy hour within the next few weeks."

  • "My husband and I love the food here and the price is reasonable. The stuffed shrimp (special) was outstanding and my Chilean Sea Bass was good. The Octopus is the BEST I've ever tasted. It is a MUST when you come here! Our waitress Suzanne was very knowledgeable and always recommends the best food and wine choices. The drinks are strong but overpriced. Our bill is never less than $200 mainly due to the alcohol. (we had 2 drinks a piece) We sat by the fireplace the first time we ate here but couldn't get the same seats on New Year's Eve which was disappointing."

  • "Nikolas coped pretty well considering the occasion. We aere seated on the Porch, not too festive. The main dining room is much nicer. That said, the wait staff were cheerful and efficient. The food was excellent, as were the drinks. Will visit again in a calmer time."

  • "Wow what a great experience and amazing food. There was a jazz band playing in the bar and it was an overall awesome time."

  • "Very good lunch on the snapper soup and duck breast, I'd say the food was certainly 4 or 4 1/2 stars. I enjoyed some reasonably priced ale, but wished they offered a few wines at less than $15 a glass for lunch. There were no glaring issues with service, but some minor things to consider when one is spending $50 on a lunch. The waitress admitted she was new, but nothing of a serious concern."

  • "Great food but when we asked for a wine recommendation and accepted the recommendation the waitress never told us the price of the wine was $18/glass. We think it was worth a mention. When we got the bill and questioned her about the price she was less than pleasant and said the prices were on the back of the menu. Most restaurants have decent wines by the glass for $8-12/glass. This price was worth a mention. Perhaps the addition of a house wine at a more moderate price could be added to the list of offerings. The wine was good but not worth the price"

  • "Logan Inn is ideally situated a stone's throw from the Buck's County Playhouse. There service is excellent as are the menu choices. The wine selections are international and include a wide variety. Logan Inn enhances any trip to the theater - any time of year."

  • "had a wonderful time, the bartenders were so friendly, like we knew them for years, Heath & Mike were the best the food was outstanding and planning on going back in the spring I bought a $250.00 gift card for my son & daughter-in-law for Christmas, they are going to love it"

  • "This was a great experience...from the moment we walked in to the moment we left, everything was about as perfect as we could have imagined. The fixed price menu selections had great choices and made it very difficult to choose. The wait staff was incredibly knowledgeable and helped us make fantastic choices. Looking forward to going back and trying other items."

  • "I've been bringing groups here for 2 years and everyone enjoys the food and the atmosphere. In the winter we are in the room with a fireplace which has great ambiance. In the summer we sit on the patio and enjoy people watching. It's a great boutique place to dine. The food choices are wonderful."

  • "From sitting in front of the lit fireplace in the lobby, our table with a view of New Hope, the attention of the wait staff during our dinner and the excellent meal made this restaurant a superb choice for our Thanksgiving Dinner."

  • "Nikolas has fixed priced meal offerings. The selections in each choice are superb. The 39$ fixed priced meal that we chose included a fresh, whole bronzino done in a Mediterranean style. This was an excellent choice. There are fresh salads, oysters and creative appetizers to choose from. It even includes dessert. Certainly if someone is very hungry this is the place to go."

  • "We enjoyed our dinner at Nikolas in the Logan Inn very much. We chose the least expensive price fixe menu at $37 per person. The food was excellent and the service was impeccable. My only beef is that the wine per glass cost is more than I like to pay, in each category of wine there was only one wine under $10 and it was a very inexpensive wine that I would never drink at home. I know the markup for wines is pretty hefty but there are many affordable excellent wines that are budget priced in the liquor store. I guess next time I will choose a BYOB restaurant. Otherwise, a great meal!!"

  • "Group of seven went to Logan Inn before attending a show at the Playhouse. Food was great and service impeccable. When we thought time was getting a bit tight, server suggested she wrap up our desserts to take home and have later. A wonderful suggestion...and thoroughly enjoyed later at home."

  • "I love the food at Nikolas at Logan Inn and will continue to recommend it to friends, but this experience was marred by an odd server, probably in training since he was working under a friendlier, more knowledgeable, more experienced one. (The experienced one was a gem, but I can't remember his name!) That being said, I think this particular visit was an anomaly and because of the delicious food, the varied prix fixe format, the charm of a wood fireplace in the dining room, and the otherwise fine waitstaff, I'd still highly recommend Nikolas at Logan Inn!"

  • "Service was excellent, ambience was great, quite. I've dined here several times in the past and always had a good experience. However, i must say this time i was not 100% satisfied with my Salmon dish. It appeared to be a little undercooked and was not as good as i had anticipated. Could have just been a one time thing!"

  • "We made reservations at the Logan Inn as it got good reviews. Unfortunately, most reviews don't split food and wine as categories. We went with a four course dinner with wine pairings. Thge food, particularly the steaks (strip and filet) were very good. However, the wines added little or nothing to the experience. The worst was a heavy syrupy sherry paired with a somewhat dry tiramisu. There may be good wines on the list but we didn't get them in the pairings."

  • "I took my fiancee here for her birthday dinner. We're not fancy dining people and neither of us had ever eaten at a restaurant with multi-course menus. The atmosphere was sophisticated and welcoming, not snobby or off-putting like I had feared. The food was phenomenal, the servers willingly answered all of our questions and we had an overall great time! They say that you need at least 90 minutes to enjoy the meal and that is true, but it was well worth the time it took to enjoy a nice evening!"

  • "The restaurant was the perfect place for a special Sunday brunch. The food was pretty good, but was overpriced, as were the drinks. A bloody mary for $15 is a bit steep. Eggs Florentine on an English muffin was fine, as were the Eggs and crab cake; also, a ham and cheese panini was very good. The dessert, a Sicilian ricotta cheesecake was a disappointment; tasted dry and past its prime, according to all three of us who tasted it. The ambiance is very nice, seated in the porch area with rustic stone walls on one side and large windows to the other, looking out at a busy New Hope October day with the sun shining brightly. The service was a little off--our waiter seemed to be inexperienced and a little disheveled, but pleasant. May not return."

  • "Enjoyed a wonderful dinner. The food is excellent, as is the service. We enjoyed the Fixed Price Dinners w Wine Tastings. This was an excellent choice, the wines were incredible - as was the explanations of each wine being served. For desert we had Port & Sherry - both were fabulous."
