The waiting staff care, and are always on hand though never intrusive. The wine list is pricy, but excellent, with excellent French and American choices among the comprehensive Italian options. As for the food, this is one of those places that all four of us agreed has so many mouthwatering options on the menu, that choosing becomes very hard. Between us we had various fish, the whole organic chicken, and the home-made pasta, and all were excellent. If the only faults I can find are that the portions of food are really large, and the modern decanters they use are quite ugly (!), then this is a really excellent find. We took a friend and his wife there for his birthday Thursday night and it was packed. This is a comfortable old-stye Italian restaurant with fair prices. We shared the calamari salad among the four of us, and split two salads, which was smart since the servings are very generous.
