Yep, my carnivorous husband discovered the elk ribs to be a great selection. As a vegetarian I was impressed with the options made available. I started with a side dish, quinoa and beets a good size serving included very fresh beets. The salads can be made without any of the meat, so plenty of options. We were joined by 3 friends who help us celebrate our 19th anniversary. I enjoyed a glass of wine and sampled a few of the drinks ordered from the bar, a salute to the mixologist. Fresh food, fun environment, great staff!

From the minute you enter the door you feel welcomed by the hospitable staff. The art work sets the tone for a night you know is going to be enjoyable. The wait staff is always helpful in explaining the menu, which is constantly changing, which makes a regular patron like me want to go back to see what you are doing now. I always bring my out of town visitors so they can have a taste of what is best about Atlanta. Thank you for being in my neighborhood.

My wife and I have eaten at Local Three several times and had enjoyed the experience. This time everything was very good in terms of the greeting the service and the overall experience. That is with the exception of the main courses. The appetiser and salad were both good but both of our entrees were not good at all as in barely edible. Not sure what happened but the steak dinner I had and the pot pie my wife had were just not good. Her comment was that no one had tasted one of the pot pies prior to serving. Going back is not an option.

Local Three is not like most restaurants. The menu and food are different. Food is well prepared and their is a nice variety of items. It would be good if their were a few more salads for lunch time.

I've heard nothing but great things about this restaurant, so I immediately planned my boyfriend's birthday dinner here. I went to Local Three with 2 friends for a birthday lunch. They serve brunch buffet style out of the kitchen is very cool. Each item in the "line" could be an entree in itself as the food is VERY tasty and unique. We noticed several large tables and a semi-private room which both looked great for groups. We will definitely be back. **As a side note, the staff at the buffet was extremely friendly and helpful. They were very willing to answer all of our questions about ingredients and even offered to tweak a recipe on our behalf. Outstanding service.

I have never been to another restaurant where the wait staff is so knowledgeable and interested in the food they are serving-they are well trained and like what they do. They have interesting daily specials and a great list of specialty cocktails. Every time we have been there (8+) our server, and the food has been fantastic. We love introducing new people to this upscale but casual feeling restaurant to see their reactions-they love it as much as we do! If you are looking for great service, great ambiance and delicious farm-to-table food, this is the place to go!

2nd time for dinner, not as good as the 1s time. I actually ordered the same items because I loved them so much the 1st time and so did my husband: steak tartare and burger. Well it was not as good. And it was not just my opinion, steak tartare was bland and the burger overcooked. Noone asked us how we wanted it cooked and it came medium well. Service was not very good as well, we waiting 20mins before having someone come to us to ask us what we wanted. They apologized and comped us the appetizer. But there again it felt weird because our server said "i will pay for it" and not "it is on us" so we felt bad she had to pay for it and told her not to comp it while asking her who was actually going to pay, ackward no response. Felt weird.

Local Three remains one of my favorite stops for lunch. As a vegetarian for less than a year, however, I have difficulty finding Local 3 options beyond the typical salad - though I'm sure they would leave the meat off their flatbread pizza, etc. I had a beefsteak tomato, buffalo mozzarella salad as my entree -- good if not stellar: it didn't look as beautiful on the plate as it might have, as though they weren't trying hard enough on the presentation. But one of the 3 chefs does have his own farm and some of their food is sourced there, which I love. Maybe it was just that one day, but through the noon hour - it remained less busy than I'd seen several months ago. It's a great restaurant. I trust they are not 'letting up.' Great service.

We tried Local Three because we "lunch" a lot and have heard great things about this restaurant group. We asked if we could sit at the bar were told, of course you can! We headed towards the bar and as we were picking out our seats the manager came over and told us that unfortunately the bar tender had not come in and if we were going to sit there we would probably not get the attention we should and would we mind sitting at a table. No problem. We proceeded to order cocktails that were good but were then sadly served an appetizer that had very stale old bread and so we didn't eat it and told the server. No one mentioned it again. Rest of lunch was only okay, and the dessert was pretty but not worth eating :( We will not go back.

Service staff was very good, and aimed to please on all fronts. Eclectic menu, but sparse descriptions lacked clear explanation of what to expect, so, dish and presentation was a surprise on a couple of dishes. The "beef" meatballs, while the server did warn they had a bit of pork in them, overwhelmed with the smell and taste of bacon. I happen to love bacon, but not in a beef meatball. House made Tagiatelle pasta and sauce with meatballs was just excellent. Also, the grilled veggies, fresh and well done, and crusty mac and cheese was excellent. A creamy Crab Risotto dish had blueberries and orange slices, but only a whiff of crab meat; again a surprise Would recommend a visit, and expect it will get much better with time.

We chose Local Three for my best friend's 40th birthday dinner and we were completely blown away by our wonderful experience. The beer selection was fantastic, the food was so delicious and the service was wonderful. Try the Redneck Refry! You won't be disappointed. Everything about this place was special. The people, the decor and the carefully thought out menu truly make this a phenomenal dining experience from beginning to end. We knew we were in the right place when we walked in and saw The Big Lebowski artwork on the wall.

We had our anniversary dinner at Local Three and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. My husband surprised me with roses on the table...he'd dropped off a vase and a wrapped bunch of roses and the host cut and arranged them in the vase! Our server was totally into the menu, giving us tips on her favorites and explaining the oddities of the chefs' creations. We had several "today's special" small plates and appetizers, one entree (the schnitzel, which is so crispy/salty/delicious and its topped with a cool kale salad), and two desserts (they were small and we were celebrating ;) the lemon "pie" was amazing - like my mam-ma's pie elevated to celebrity status). The cocktails were equally fab, they have an extensive bourbon menu. We'll be back soon!!

The wait staff was all overweight with pot bellies that stick out. While we can appreciate that they were not wearing a uniform in an effort to prevent it looking like an Applebees the waitstaff wore clothes that looked as if they had reached into their dirty clothes pile. It is clear that there have been no policies put in place to make sure that the staff looked presentable and professional.

My boyfriend and I came with 3 friends and we had a lovely time! Usually we will each order one cocktail to try, but the Jack-John Daly and the No Pagne No Gain drinks were so good we ordered a second (and third) round. We shared the beef tartare and both the cheese and charcutterie platters with the group, all three of which were excellent. The waiter did an excellent job explaining each dish and providing notable combinations. For our entrees, we had the wagyu meatloaf (nightly special) and the scallops. This was the best meatloaf we have ever tasted and the scallops were huge! The mac & cheese side was a decadent addition to our meals and the chocolate mousse trio was the perfect dessert to end our meal!
