Local Mission EateryBoth times a charmI've eaten at Local Mission Eatery twice. The first was with an out-of-town foodie guest for a meal during one of LME's wine/menu pairings. We both thought the meal was one of the best we've ever had. I had been searching for a time to come with my wife, and managed a deferred mother's day celebration mid-week. We had the focaccia as an appetizer, bean soup with kale and artichoke, grilled artichoke and fennel, tagliatelle, ricotta gnocchi with chicken confit and an surprisingly complex chocolate brioche for dessert. All the dishes were excellent. We loved that one can have half portions of the main courses, allowing us to try more dishes. Service was attentive without being stuffy. Some dishes are truly special, others are decent. Nothing is bad. Environment & service friendly and inviting.
