The waiter sat us outside, and fanned open the long red drapes to shield us from the summer sun. It would have been impossible to eat outside without the shading. Our Tuscan Salads were fresh, and tasty. A great combo of ingredients! Loved it! A complementary dessert-to-share was a thoughtful touch presented by our waiter. I was right! We were seated outdoors on a great evening and the food was great. Started with the drunken bread as all the reviews recommend - they were not wrong. I had the duck risotto and my friend had the salmon. Both large portions and perfectly done. Have to remember that this gem is nearby and need to try more items on the menu. There are several dishes here we really, really like, and they're always just as good as the first time. Favorites include the risottos, the bolognese, the fusilli with clams & chorizo, the arugula salad and most of the appetizers. The specials are also good bets. The server knew it was the first time there for the other couple, and she brought us a dessert to share to thank them for trying the restaurant. A very nice touch! We'll be back, and I'm pretty sure our friends will be too!
