A word from Local 360 Cafe & Bar
Local 360 is a sustainable modern American restaurant based in the heart of downtown at the corner of 1st and Bell. Our emphasis is on local sourcing, with the majority of it falling within a 360 mile radius of Seattle.

Our products are sourced from the most humane farms we can find. Ideally, 90% of our raw ingredients come from within 360 miles of Seattle. Nothing we are doing is innovative or new — on the contrary, we are returning to a simpler way of functioning as a business while supporting our community.

Local 360's bar is fully stocked with the largest selection of NW distilled spirits, wines and beer.

The two private dining rooms, Chef's Table and Loft, are rustic rooms with their own kitchen, bar, and customized amenities suited for seated parties up to 65 guests and up to 75 guests in a reception setting.

  • Disappointing in so many ways

I wanted to really like this place. The concept is great and I've eaten at locavore restaurants in great dining cities like Charleston, St. Louis, Chicago, and NY. The drink I had in the bar was excellent and the bartender (overworked as he was) was attentive and great at his job. The bar was uncomfortable and crammed. Our table tried all of the appetizers offered on the Restaurant Week menu. We had cold, bland soup, mediocre seafood pate on saltines (really?), and a ceasar made with kale that was just weird. Desert (again we ordered all 3) were mediocre at best. Gumbo was a lot of Farro and a few clams. one bite of sausage no salmon that we found. SLOW service. The noise level was horrifying. We could barely hear each other.

This was my first experience at Local 360, and I want to go back to try some things off the normal menu. I had the 3-course menu for Restaurant Week on 10/22, and after I felt like I could have gotten a better meal for $30 by ordering straight from the dinner menu. The main course options were two "one-pot" options and a vegetarian dish, which doesn't signal a restaurant putting their best foot forward for an event like this. The food was relatively tasty, but not at the level I'd expected.

Four of us came to Local 360 to dine before the opera and loved it. The fried chicken with a fried egg on top (!) was both excellent and a conversation piece. Two of us put together unusual small plates (mussels, mac/cheese, and pork belly and shared bites. The food was excellently prepared and we liked the emphasis on sustainability and local supply. The atmosphere is informal with wooden booths and a bar. We would definitely go back to this restaurant.

Local 360 a nice spot. If you are prone to veggies, a few less choices that aren't overdone with many elements. But beet salad and the farmer salad terrific, if slightly over-dosed with dressing. Ask for it on the light side

There were 8 of us on a Friday night, we loved the food the atmosphere and the tapered candle they let burn to nothing on our table. The booth was huge to accommodate all of us which I loved because it felt more intimate and we could all hear each other. Service also was attentive and kind. I'd recomend this place to a friend.

Obviously, I had chicken and waffles for brunch and topped it off w/bubbles. I could possibly be quoted in saying that it was the BEST piece of fried chicken I've had in a very long time. The waffle itself was ok but it was the chicken that did me in. We also had the deviled eggs, which were ok at best. Spot was pretty busy. Very young, hipster crowd but also had families both young and old. Definitely a MUST GO if you are in Seattle!!

This is one of the few places I go where I don't stress out about getting a sulfite (to which I am highly allergic) by accident. They know what's in their food, the wait staff are helpful and savvy, and the chefs are accommodating to allergy issues without needlessly limiting their range. And the apple fritters with bacon brittle and ice cream -- amazing.

Locally grown food (360 mile radius). My wife had rabbit for the first time ever. It was amazing. The best non-farmed salmon I've had in a restaurant for years. Crispy skin and perfectly cooked meat. We are looking for a reason to come back to Seattle, but this restaurant might be the excuse to return. They took care of our allergy needs perfectly. Highly recommended.

Seriously, I can't rave enough about the mac-n-cheese, I crave it daily. It's by far the best in Seattle. Local 360 has been one of my favs since the day it opened, I love the concept around sourcing all their ingredients from within 360 miles and love to support buying local. Not only is their menu unique, but the food is amazing. The burger is on the top of my list as well as their pork shank. This is also a great spot for brunch!

My wife and I came here for our 15th Anniversary based on a friends recommendation. The atmosphere is very nice and we loved the booth we were sat in. Overall the food was pretty good, especially the deviled eggs and the pork belly! The fried chicken was way too salty and we literally only had 1 bite each. The service was not good at all! Our server seemed to not want to be there and it showed in his level of service. No smile at all, did not welcome us, was basically an order taker. We ordered a few small plates to begin with and when he came back to the table he never once asked us how we liked our food! The only thing he said upon each return was "did you decide on anything else?" BTW - I had to ask him to clear the empty plates!

I usually love this restaurant, the food, the service, everything; but it was hot as hades this night. Ambience is ok with a large group (6). Food okay, our waitress gave us a lecture on local food sources that lasted 1 minute (long time to listen to a waitperson) after we asked for a diet coke. No diet coke/pepsi serves ONLY locally made soda?! Biggest dissapointment -- the Kumamoto oysters. Those delicate, delicious bits of goodness came dressed (I ordered them raw on the half shell) actually, they were drowned in a mignonette sauce that was to oily and sweet. The rest went downhill from there. Generally okay food, service is pretty good but won't be going back there again for a long time. Not much to go back to.

My only complaint is that the drink I ordered was not made as I asked. But that's it! The food is delish and not overly dependent on carbs. I'm not on a strict diet, but often I find restaurants need to include a pile of carbs in some form to fill the plate. The lamb ribs, greens, chick pea cake and pork belly were all fabulous.

I've been to Local 360 twice now, once work-related and once on a date with my wife. Both times the food was really good, though I think it might be time for the bacon in everything trend to end. The first time the service was fine, but the second time the waiter was a slightly curt, hard-to-understand low-talker who was a little oblivious. Maybe we just got a bad break. I also don't like that they have a diverse array of spirits but the cocktail menu is limited to overly complicated drinks that are a bit of a crapshoot (the Soul Patch tastes like cough syrup imo). I'd prefer a simpler approach to recommending spirits that you might not have had before (brand-wise mainly) in a more common context. Long way of saying KISS I guess.
