  • "From the moment we walked in, we could feel the overall vibe of the place sinking in: classy, yet not uptight, stylish, but not pretentious, relaxed, but still energetic. Everything in perfect composition. I actually asked my girlfriend to marry me in the restaurant (was supposed to be in Forsyth Park just down the street, but the weather didnt cooperate) which we were both happy that we have the perfect excuse to go there for anniversaries, etc. I cant recommend this place highly enough. If you have the opportunity to eat there, jump on it. You can thank me later..."

  • "I'm grateful our B&B host who recommended this restaurant for a memorable 10th Wedding Anniversary dinner. It was within walking distance from our delightful B&B, the restaurant was nicely designed, the service was great and the food was simply delicious. Loved our appetizer - the Bison Sausage & Brussels sprouts - will definitely come back for that next time we're in Savannah. After dinner we had a couple of cocktails upstairs at Perch - the al fresco bar - and enjoyed some romantic alone time until closing time."

  • "The mixed drinks are the best I've ever had, especially the Primm's. Loved all three courses - olive bread appetizer, scallops, chocolate torte with caramel. Presentation was photograph worthy. The Perch, the rooftop bar, was a perfect way to end our date night. Can't wait to return on our next visit to Savannah! Though it's a perfect date night restaurant I also would return with our children too if we ate early."

  • "A friend and I were celebrating a house closing so we treated ourselves to a night on the town. After looking at the menu this was the clear choice. Upon arrival we had drinks on the Perch with Andres, who is spectacular and relaxed. Then for dinner we moved into the dining room. Menu was not huge but had the fun option to create your own entree!! I chose the vegetarian, because i believe it is difficult to make interesting things without meat and this was amazing! Friend had the duck, also spectacular! Wine menu has great range of prices and flavors."

  • "The food here is excellent with many locally sourced items from nearby farms or local fishing. The wine list is good but expensive. The interior is modern and comfortable but I could see that noise levels could get high if it was full. The waiter we had was a little spacey, got my initial wine order wrong, forgot to give us bread right away, and poured water on the table while filling our glasses. He was clearly knowledgeable but just seemed a little off. Anyway, he settled down and it turned out to be an excellent dining experience. With two appetizers, two main courses, one dessert, two glasses of wine to start and a bottle for dinner plus tip came to about $200. Expensive but we were pleased."

  • "Walking the parks and squares of Savannah, I heard a couple ask for directions to Local 11 ten. The information on their website picqued my interest as they used local Savannah suppliers for their produce, meats and fish. The Braised pork with peas and carrot grits was excellent as were the fish and meat specials for the night. There are listed entrees but one can also choose a meat/fish, sauce, and veggie side from a list at the bottom of the menu. Our server was very knowledgable and the epitome of charming southern hospitality. The chairs had wide seats-very comfortable as were the benches, and the table was higher than normal which made it more comfortable!"

  • "Nice rooftop bar, that was a bit chilly on the day that we attended, but during the summer, I could see it being a very pleasant hangout in the stade of the live oaks on the street. Nevertheless, even during chilly times they have portable heaters (nice touch). The menu is broad and full featured. The shared mussel appetizer was excellent. Our starters and main courses were excellent (although the beef and bacon bratwurst tua accompanied the filet mignon was a little salty). Everything was cooked and presented perfectly, and the service was very attentive. I'd certainly return. One of Savannah's best I believe."

Sounds good - the ingredients are fins, but the chef doesn't do anything with them - everything was bland and disappointing. NO sauces (although they were described on the menu!) over cooked meat and fish, bland side dishes and rude staff. SAVE YOUR MONEY!"

  • "We have dined all over Savannah since moving here 7 years ago from a great food city. Many of Savannah's restaurants are more "tourist" oriented. Local1110 is truly a "foodie" place catering to anyone (locals and visitors alike) who want a top notch dining experience. Striped bass was amazingly fresh and perfectly prepared. Veggies sourced from outstanding purveyors. Sauces range from delicious classics (romesco, bordelaise, citrus etc) to creative from the experience of the chef paired with seasonal ingredients (sorrel cream, burnt strawberry). Atmosphere is more like what you might find in New York, San Francisco or Atlanta. The roof top bar was perfect for gathering and cocktails before dinner. Cannot recommend Local enough"

  • "The rooftop bar is outstanding and would recomend to everyone. Enjoyed the chef special appetizer and it was fabulaous. Absolutely hatted the ceasar salad. We tried the Tuna and Fillet. Would rank the Tuna as some of the best but not the best in Savannah. The Fillet was easily the best I've tried in the Savannah area. Outstanding piece of beef. Not a place for quiet conversation. The tables are close together and the noise level makes it hard to hear your table partners. This is a common issue in Savannah since older buildings are often converted into restaurants. Just something you learn to deal with around here. Character versus function. For me the salad and cramped feeling kept it from being a 5 Star."

  • "Left a message on their message machine at 3:30pm asking for a 6:30 reservation, never heard from them. Luckily made a 6:00pm reservation on Open Table. Don't know why I couldn't do a 6:30 res on Open Table. We were the first ones there because they don't open until 6pm and there were plenty of seats at 6:30. Slow staff. For $475 for 5 people I expected better service. Food was good, Mac and Cheese was very good. Smoked Grits were great. Lavender Cheesecake was very light and airy. Try the bourbon barrel aged beer, awesome."

  • "Everything you would expect from a restaurant in its class. Excellent food, presentation, and service. It is, of course, expensive, so definitely a special occasion type of restaurant. I found the serving size to be large for comparable restaurants, which is great, and makes it more worth the price. Nothing worse than leaving an expensive dinner and still being hungry... that didn't happen here. The deserts, especially are large portions. My wife and I were VERY glad we decided to share the torte when we saw the size of it. The chef is very willing to customize plates as well."

  • "Happen to pick this restaurant on Valentines Day because it was the only one listed on Open Table that had an open reservation. They must have had a cancellation, just our luck. This place is amazing. You start out by going to the roof top bar. Even though it was probably 50 degrees out, there were plenty of heaters to keep you toasty. The dinner was just as amazing. We had the Filet Mignon and the Grouper. The filet was one of the best I have had, cutting like butter. Grouper was well seasoned and as clearly very fresh. Casey was our waiter. He was incredibly knowledgeable about food preparation as well as understanding how to pair wine with our meat and fish entrees. I recommend this restaurant to anyone."

  • "I ate here 2/3/2014. My wife had the grouper I had duck. Both were excellent. The mussel appetizer was also excellent. I liked the location, just a block away from Forsyth Park. Good for a stroll before and after dinner. I like that it was off the beaten track of river and bay streets. The restaurant had a great interior. The service was great. Apparently the have some outside dining but the weather was not conducive. I have no reason not to recommend this restaurant, will return for further dinners."

  • "I decided to be open minded at all the wonderful food combinations on the menu. Things I would not have thought went together. I am so glad I did. I tried a few items I wouldn't normally and took the recommendation from our waitress on another. We were pleased with everything. We actually got full but couldn't stop eating until it was all gone because of how great everything tasted. The atmosphere was wonderful. I would not have normally said a group would do well there because it is an almost romantic setting but we had a group seated next to us and I would say they enjoyed there experience as well."

  • "Kathy and I always come here for a special occasion. This restaurant always uses fresh local items. The fish of the day (grouper) was outstanding. I couldn't begin to name all the ingredients that were in the "hash" that went along with the fish. Kathy had the scallops and they were cooked just right. Our service was excellent. This is a restaurant that you feel good when you leave because you know that you have eaten quality local food. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone wanting a special dining experience."
