The food is superb; maybe not for everyone, but if you are a 'foodie' or at least a little adventurous, you'll be delighted. In addition the entire experience is first class; from the very cool roof-top bar, to the service, to the decor, to the ease of parking. 10 out of 10. Could not recommend it any more highly. Recommended to us a few years ago, we never quite found the motivation to get in our car and venture out of the historic district. As a result, we've had countless "fine" dining experiences that didn't fill the bill. Local11ten has changed that for us. The menu is truly innovative, providing inspiration for my gourmet-chef wife. Execution was perfect. Service was impeccable.
Tip: Don't be bashful about ordering from just the appetizer (One) and second course menu (Two). The portions are above average and you may just have room for dessert.

The first time I went by myself, but there were no open tables. I sat at the bar and the bartender made an excellent cocktail recommendation (it had lemon and rosemary). For dinner, he talked me into the sea scallops entree with a white wine pairing. It was unbelievably good. I love that all of the products are locally sourced and that the chef really knows how to make the ingredients shine. This time, the only complaint would be that my friend's filet mignon was a little dry (it was cooked perfectly, but perhaps it say under the heating lamps while waiting to be brought to the table). This was definitely a memorable dining experience - among the best of my 7 decades. Both of our entrees and the salad we shared were done to perfection. The scallops did not die in vain. An average waiter would have sufficed, but Sean (?sp) was exceptional. He was attentive and conversational, without being intrusive. On a scale of 1 to 10, Local 11 ten does get an 11. Only the unseasonal chill precluded this being the perfect evening. Spent time at Perch upstairs having a fabulous martini there and then enjoyed dinner. Our wine selection was awesome, Belle Glos and the mussels were out of this world! While it is a little on the fringes of the historic district, it was WELL worth the walk and it was a lovely walk. The service was amazing and the food was the best we had while vacationing there. The tuna appetizer and strawberry galette dessert were particularly delicious. They accidentally brought out the appetizer and entree at the same time, and the server was not happy. He actually comped the appetizer. Also, since we were celebrating our 1 year anniversary, he gave us glasses of champagne to have with our dessert. Not cheap but NOT overpriced. Awesome food. And portions big enough to take home. Everything was delicious, the service was top class and the roof top bar is a must for a before dinner drink. The food was outstanding along with the service. Our server, Tess was able to give us detailed information about their various wines and other beverages. She provided just the right amount of service. She was there when we needed her but wasn't the slightest bit overbearing or annoying. I even provided special instructions for her since I was orchestrating a birthday surprise for my fiancee later on and she handled the requests professionally and efficiently with a smile. The hostess, Leslie, along with the rest of the staff is friendly and welcoming without seeming the least bit snooty or fake. The spring roll and caesar salads were incredible. I had the mussels and did not want the bowl to be empty. Our entrees the Duck and Shrimp were over the top good. I have to highlight and commend our server Caitlin as one of the best we ever experienced. She was attentive, knowledgeable and energetic. Even though it appeared she was supporting the whole section alone, she made us feel like we were her only customers. We loved the vibe, the big windows, and the sense of space in the building. We loved our salads with a great piece of the best bacon I had ever had. We both had seafood. There were two fish specials and we got them both so I can't tell you much about the regular menu. I can tell youth go try it.
