Relax in comfort and enjoy views of the waterfall and gardens while savoring casual fare for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Each weekend, enjoy a Farmers' Market Breakfast. With interactive stations for omelets and fresh-squeezed orange juice, our chef's feature fresh, locally grown produce and organic dairy products from area farms, served in a fun and casual setting.

On Saturday evenings, the Lobby Lounge is transformed into an Italian marketplace, featuring fresh-baked focaccia, local olive oil, a selection of bruschetta and antipasti. Sample perfectly sliced-to-order meats and cheeses at our salumi cart and visit our chef-attended pasta station for the ultimate indulgence. Of course, no Italian meal would be complete without one of our savoury thin-crust pizzas cooked in our outdoor wood-fired oven.

  • "It took about 10 minutes before anyone even took my drink order or acknowledged that I was seated a table for lunch. Once the waitress appeared she did a fair job of checking in but I was so disappointed by that time that it really didn't matter. I was a guest at the hotel and had already experience way more problems than should ever be experienced at a Four Seasons so this was just one more drop in the bucket. The Cobb Salad was very nice and I would probably give the Lobby Lounge another try if I am ever in the area again."

  • "Took my mom and friend here for lunch, I have to say none of us were impressed, and have had far better service and food at other local locations. Upon arrival asked the hostess about the history of the restaurant, she knew nothing. The server took 10 minutes to come to the table, there was no offer for bread or water, all of which had to be asked for. The overall decor, although not my choice for design, was kinda beaten up and tattered (in the daylight, it was not pretty). My friend ordered a gin based specialty cocktail at $14, you would be hard pressed to tell me it had any alcohol at all in it. One order came out incorrect, my salad had very dry chicken. Items were comped from the final bill, however this is not Four Seasons standard."

  • "This is a lovely, elegant dining room with a lovely view of the hotels lush grounds and rock waterfall. While the ambiance is typical Four Season's elegance, dining here is relaxing, casual yet upscale. The staff is very attentive without being intrusive. Nancy and Stefano are incredible, they know how to make everyone feel welcome. Both work the room in tandem, ensuring that your service is top-notch. The food is casual yet creative. The pork shank is a favorite. During the summer, try the local FRESH strawberry and burrata salad as it is a wonderful mix of flavor. Although this is clearly not a steakhouse, the special steaks served here are always flavorful and prepared to order. The apple tarte tatin is the perfect finish."

  • "Over the past 30 days or so, the Lobby Restaurant has seriously declined in terms of menu, food quality and timelyservice for lunch. To be fair, the Four Seasons in Westlake Village is a very nice upscale hotel with outstanding service and generally good restaurants including Onyx and up until recently - The Lobby Lounge. We’ve had two lunches there during the past several weeks and both the food and service were quite poor and far below the standards expected for a Four Seasons."

  • "We have visited the Lobby Lounge several times for either the Italian buffet (Mercato Italiano) and/or Friday's Seafood buffet. The last two times we had a server who always seems to be in a rush and just seems like he doesn't care. For instance, he didn't ask if we wanted something to drink, we have to call him and after my partner asked for his drink, he just walked away without asking if I wanted something. So I had to call him again to tell him I wanted something to drink. Later on, our friend wanted some coffee, and she asked him for a cup of coffee and the server replied that she needed to go to the coffee bar and order it there. I called a different server, she has always been wonderful server, and she got our friend her coffee."

  • "THis used to be a special, festive, fun night but,: Bruchetta Bar chinsy, little toppings and not like it used to be with an attendant, pizza was slow to come around, charcuterie was smaller only one salami and chunks of brie cheese( not italian cheeses and meats as previous) not staffed properly, no foot stool for my purse......disappointed.Sorry I had my husbands 5oth dinner there."

  • "Service was not at par to what we had before, but was still good. Since this is a buffet style sometimes we had to ask the busboys and or the waiter to retire empty plates. In the past it was done flawlessly. I had to flag the waiter for additional cutlery, in the past never had to do that. There were three sauces served with the shrimp and our server didn't know what they were or how to describe them. Of course we just tried them all anyway, were pleasantly surprised. Very minor issues en reality. However we had one of the most comfortables seats in the house, and that made the experience very pleasant."

  • "I have dined here many times while staying at the hotel or during spa days. Food is almost uniformly excellent to outstanding. Service is slow so allot around 1 1/2-2 hours for lunch (although I'm sure you can tell them to speed things up... We just did not happen to be in a hurry). Beautiful view of the resort grounds."

  • "The Four Seasons Hotel is beautiful in which the "Lobby Lounge" is situated. Unlike the name indicates, the lounge is hardly a lounge at all but rather an informal dining setting both indoor and outdoors. Like the hotel, the lounge is beautifully/tastefully decorated and a unique environment. My family went for "italian night" which is set up as an all you can eat buffet ($45/person). My ratings on the ambiance and service speak for themselves. I would probably not do the buffet again because the food was horrible. In the Four Seasons defense, it is a buffet and how good can food really be at a buffet. I should have lowered my expectations. Go for drinks and appetizers."

  • "They did not hold our table, they ran out of lobster, then 10 minutes later found it, we had to ask three times to light a candle, and get some bread. They had a singer who was nice but too loud. We said it was my wife's birthday and they did absolutely nothing special. I guess the 4seasons is now a meet market for 50 year old women to dance with the lights on. The maitre DI was great but the lobby lounge was pretty hectic."

He made great menu suggestions and anticipated my drink refills. The fries that came with my sandwich were fantastic! Christine, the restaurant manager was lovely.   • "On Sunday, Nov.4,2012, four of us were celebrating one of the ladies' birthday. We all ordered the filet of sole, which came with chard and pureed corn. All of us asked that another vegetable be substitued for the chard. After waiting about 40 minutes, our food arrived. The plates were so ordinary and uninspired, we were all disappointed. There were three little pieces of sole and a clump of broccoli or carrots,depending on the person. There was no pureed corn on the plate, no garnish of any kind. The Four Seasons has a beautiful ambiance, but this time I'd give the service and food very low marks."

When we asked him to recommend a drink, he responded that he was not a big drinker and could not really tell us but it was just preference. Not very good at all.   • "Great food and great service. Emphasis on local, fresh fare. Dishes are light and not too heavy. Quality not quantity. Perfect for a spa day lunch. It is pricey but after all, it is the Four Seasons, where service and ambience are elegant and gracious without being overbearing. I have always felt comfortable dining here with my children as well, so it's a perfect place to go when you need "grown-up food" at a place that is also kid-friendly. That being said, service tends to plod along so allot some time to dine because you will be here a while."

  • "Really enjoyed the Mercato Italiano dinner at the Lobby Lounge on Saturday night! Great choice of items (buffet) and the pizza (served tableside throughout the meal) is the best in the San Fernando Valley! The crostini and pastas are also excellent. Although not always available on the buffet, the Seafood Cioppino is especially wonderful. Have enjoyed this buffet six times and each time, it has been great. The service is particularly good and the manager(s) make sure that everybody is well served and enjoying the experience --- It is a fun time with great food."
