Second time's a charmI must admit, this was a last min choice for Mother's Day brunch for my aunt and her family. I knew I needed to pick some place that would accommodate 5-6 people, that they had never heard of before, so wouldn't be able to complain about it before we got there. Let's just say...my aunt & uncle are a tough crowd to please. My 1st visit was right when they opened--a brunch treat after an early morning Sat yoga practice. I ordered a coffee, and the chilaquiles. Not bad, but not great. So I definitely had my fingers crossed when I led them into the restaurant. My smile only kept growing from there, when course after course of PERFECT food came out, and made it to our bellies. 6 satisfied ppl, HUGE smiles, and a thumbs up from my uncle! The food is very good, but what stands out the most is the fantastic service. Our waiter, Carlos, was excellent. This was also my experience the first time I dined at Little Market. It's great to see a restaurant that has such a great atmosphere and that also has great food and service. That would be my only disappointment. Other than that, everything was wonderful!4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMA Great Addition to the NeighborhooThis relatively informal(for a Gold Coast neighborhood) and reasonably priced (ditto), is a great addition to the area. A reasonably priced wine list, rare in this area, and lots of charming small plates. Our winner was potato gnocchi with a crab meat sauce. But there is lots to choose from and most just a step better than commonplace and not too exotic. Service was unbelievably top-notch. The staff made one feel very welcome and the pacing was perfect.

Enjoyed the chiliquillas (sp)- a large portion with great salsa seasoning and a perfect fried egg on top. My guest loved the sausage gravy rolls. I've had lunch there (the lobster roll and fries are to die for) but not brunch. I would recommend both. The waiter was very knowledgable and helpful.
This also is a good place to go alone. The bar was full of singles enjoying lunch and having a good time. I felt there was not enough food, as we ordered the poutine for 5 which came with one egg on top of the dish for 5 people to split. In the future perhaps you could top it with 2 or 3 eggs to share. The atmosphere is fun and lively while they weren't completely full so it was nice to not be squished next to a random table of people.

I recommend the monkfish and deviled eggs! we also had the shrimp ceviche which was good too! Our server was GREAT at giving suggestions and making us feel right at home and very comfortable. In fact, everyone was very welcoming. They comped our first drink bc we were on a time crunch for the giant booth they gave us for only the two of us.. so nice!!! :) Will DEFINITELY be back!2/15/2013 12:00:00 AMSoft opening, lots of promiseI intended to go here for brunch but was disappointed to see that breakfast was only served until 10. We were told the menu was centered around small sharing plates but for lunch the small plates consisted primarily of salads. We ordered the Cesar salad which really good for a Cesar, the NY strip which was excellent, and their market burger which was well seasoned and placed upon a terrific bun but came out medium to well done while we ordered it medium rare. The cocktails were all phenomenal and the service was outstanding. This place is still in its infancy as it hasn't even had a grand opening yet so we can't judge it too harshly and what we experienced it really is set up to do very well once the kinks are ironed out.
