Little India Restaurant - BelmarWe had a nice table outsideWe had a nice table outside as we had requested. The waiter was personable and attentive without being obtrusive. My son was visiting from NC, said that this was one of the best Indian restaurants that he had EVER been to. All our food choices were spiced as we had requested and the portion size was ample. All 5 of us were very pleased!!6/9/2013 12:00:00 AMI couldn't remember the typeI couldn't remember the type of food I was looking for but I could describe it. The waiter was able to provide an absolutely awesome recommendation that was exactly what I was looking for. The breads were very tasty and exactly the way I remember it. I met a lady there for the first time and the ambience was exceptional. We sat outside where we could view the pedestrian foot traffic as well as hear the goings on of the neighborhood without drowning out our conversation.6/7/2013 12:00:00 AMBest Indian Food in DenverWe've been going to Little India for the better part of 20 years--since they first opened the location at 6th and Grant. We always have exceptional food, both during dinner and at the lunch buffet. Service is dependably good. The Happy Hour at the Belmar location, along with the beautiful outdoor patio, brings us back again and again. Sometimes, they even have a live sitar player. Try the tamarind margarita, chicken tikka masala, lamb or veggie korma, and coconut shrimp. They recently started offering combo plates--both a vegetarian and non-vegetarian option--that are a great way to sample more than one thing at dinner. Saag dishes are always good and if you like spicy food (and I'm not kidding!) try a madras dish.5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMA little pricy, but good drinks,A little pricy, but good drinks, good food, good company and nice to get a spot on the patio on a nice evening.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent! We had a marvelous dinner. It was lovely outside watching folks walk by. Our servers were very attentive, and the food was delicious! We will definitely be visiting again!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMVery good experienceThe food is consistently very good. The service is always friendly. My only gripe is that the tables are small and with a group of 4 people we barely had room to put our glasses down.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat - as usualOur dinner may have been one of the best we've ever had at any of the Little India locations. Everything was beautifully done, service was excellent, food delicious, nice jazz in the background. Simply a top notch experience.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMSimply the BestJust when I thought nothing could be better than my favorite, the chicken tikka masala, Little India in Belmar offered a special for the night - it DID include the chicken tikka masala, but also included saag paneer and lamb curry - also a side of aromatic basmati rice, punjabi samosa (deep fried crisp pastries filled with mashed potato and peas) and warm naan. I've dined at Indian restaurants all over the world but I have to say that this is the best Indian food I have ever had. So lucky to have Little India in Lakewood and happily, the food is equally as good in the other Little India locations in the Denver metro area - I have dined in all of them!12/22/2012 12:00:00 AMLittle India is a great restaurant!Little India is and has been one of my favorite restaurants for many years and I have dined in all of the metro Denver locations. I always enjoy the food - my personal favorite, the chicken tikka masala- but I have also tried and enjoyed the saags and vindaloos. The naan is wonderful whether it is the regular or garlic. The servers are helpful and attentive. Overall, Little India in Belmar is a great choice for a wonderful dining experience.12/16/2012 12:00:00 AM
