  • "Went here for a friend's bachelorette party and we all had an excellent time. The food was great and the service superb."

  • "Little India is low key and comfortable. We took our son, who is a vegetarian and found many good choices. He had vegetable curry and I had saag paneer. Both were excellent. "

  • "The food at Little India is always great. The service, on the other hand, is not usually. Our server was fairly attentive, just very awkward."

  • "Still the best Indian food in central Denver but menu prices continue to rise as portions become smaller."
    Dined on 5/16/2014
  • "Small seating area for a more intimate experience, but enough room if you want to bring a group. Amazing traditional dishes with outstanding spice and flavor. Great service, and a good bar! "

  • "Everyone so kind and friendly and attuned to needs without being overly talkative with guests. Like the politeness. "

  • "I never imagined curry could be so bland...I was sorely disappointed."

  • "My fave place for indian food in denver. The tikka misala is top notch."

  • "Little India's is a great go-to for good Indian food. The service is prompt and attentive without being intrusive. Food is excellent. Highly recommend the Masalas, Kormas, and Vindaloos. Cocktails are wonderful. Great top shelf bar. Highly recommended."

  • "I had a great time. My waiter was very personable and respectful. I felt that he was a bit unprepared with regards to making suggestions from the menu, but his service was impeccable: attentive and unobtrusive. The food was very good. We had the chicken saag and the lamb jalfrezi. Both were delicious. I was disappointed that we were charged full price for the saffron rice, instead of it being an upgrade option."

  • "I've always loved coming to this restaurant. They make great food! And at our recent visit there, we had two toddlers in tow, and the staff was great with them. It is nice to be able to go out as a family, eat a nice dinner and not feel unwelcome for having young children."

  • "My GF and I went here for Valentine's day to enjoy some great food. We have both been to and ordered from here numerous times and love the food. It is a great neighborhood place with a very friendly staff. The only issue with Valentine's day is that the place was packed and a little noisy as a result. I will say, however, that none of this detracted from the evening and everything was wonderful. If one lives in the 6th Ave. area near Broadway, this is a wonderful find."

  • "I went to Little India on 6th for Valentine's Day and although the food was good, the staff was extremely rude and apathetic. When we came in no one even noticed us for about 5 minutes, and once they did they immediately said we were in the way and told us to wait in the back of the restaurant by the bathrooms. We tried to explain we had a reservation, but the hostess said there was a long wait and she would have to ask her manager about reservations. Dinner was rushed and immediately after we signed our receipts, a waiter came over and asked us to wrap it up because they were busy and we were taking up their table. Two of us still had full cocktails! I understand they were busy but they did not handle it well and we won't be back."

  • "We ordered our usual lamb korma, which never disappoints. My husband ordered a nice Zinfandel and the combination was perfect IMHO."

  • "The moment we walked in we could tell this restaurant would be a winner. The place had a great feel, lots of staff, smells of wonderful food, and the guests were smiling and enjoying their dinner. We were immediately met by the owner / manager and pleasantly greeted. He came by our table during the meal to check and make sure everything was as good as expected. The dinner was delicious, the staff was prompt and friendly, the cost was fair, and the quantity plentiful. This is a must try restaurant!"

  • "The food was excellent. However as a vegetarian I was disappointed that they don't fry their vegetarian dishes separately. I had to skip all the appetizers because they are cooked the same oil as the non-vegetarian dishes. They were unable to serve unsweetened Chai I was told that is how its made (I suspect they use a pre-mix, I could be wrong.)."

  • "The food was good, but not exceptional . I've had better there before. Great chai"
    Dined on 9/26/2013
  • "The food is normally very good, as is the service, but this night was an exception. The owner did what he could to make things right, which we much appreciated"

  • "Excellent food service from Jim, our waiter. Noise level was just right to have a quiet conversation. We dined early evening on a Sunday and restaurant was busy. It had been a few months since our last visit and I think they are using different recipes for some of the stand-bys. The spiciness was tempered somewhat. The naan quantity was cut back as well. When we used to order naan, we got a whole naan, one each. This time we received four quarters of one whole naan for just the two of us. Lamb dishes have gone up significantly in price as well. Otherwise, it was a most enjoyable meal and our waiter was very attentive and helpful. We'll keep coming back and hope that they return to some of the original recipes."

  • "I absolutely love Little India! The food is always fresh and "comforting." I've had Indian food elsewhere and it's never as good as here. The servers are almost hovering and very friendly. I brought my brother here for his first taste of Indian food and he loved it! It has a wonderful neighborhood feel to it. Definitely recommend Little India"

  • "Great service, good food. Food would have been great if the spices had come through a bit more. Food was a bit on the bland side. Regardless, I'll be back soon."

  • "We eat out a lot like New Yorkers, so here's out take. Been here many times Food - good Indian food but not great, dips are excellent for Naan Service - younger inexperienced, not so passionate wait staff, but they get the job done. They get a bit lost sometimes with how busy they are Atmosphere - usually very busy and fairly noisy. but not really a fun atmosphere. Good for a quick bite with friends. Not a romantic or hip group spot to eat though for sure. Can feel claustrophobic in there with how small and busy often. Overall - would go every now and again"

  • "Original location still excels. Copper pots & serving spoons make a beautiful presentation & easy to share. We tried 7 dishes, loved all, especially the sizzling Tandoori Chicken."

  • "authentic Indian food, quick service, and there was an old Indian man playing a sitar! How cool! big portions too."

  • "Disappointing night at Little India. Waitress doesn't come by for quite a while, she shows up and asks, "Do you know what you want to eat?" I had to ask what the special was. After telling her our order and our wines, she left, came back a minute later with some obviously pre-made, not very warm samosas. Asked for our wine, which still wasn't delivered. We finished our appetizers and dinner arrives, still no wine, ask again for the wine. We keep eating and other than some woody vegetables & she not asking which rice did we want (we got white, wanted saffron), a pretty good meal. See waitress walking around and I stare at her, indicating we would really like our glasses of wine. 3/4's in, we get wine, no apologies. Young waitress needs work."
