Little HenReady to go backWe were ready to go back to Little Hen before we even left. Everything was perfect, from the ambiance (they made a strip mall feel rustic) to the drinks (delicious, fun and reasonably priced cocktails + one of the best and most carefully selected wine menus I've ever seen) to the food (fresh, simple, and the perfect pairing of flavors). On top of that, everything was reasonably priced and worth every penny, plus some. The staff members are very friendly and the food is good. They offer local/seasonal fare, so you know the ingredients are fresh. Menu items are kept relatively simple, but tasty. We sometimes stop by just for a meat/cheese plate and a beverage or to share a 'board' for dinner. Definitely worth a visit, my parents enjoyed brunch when we took them there for Mother's Day. The food was fresh and local, with awesome flavor. From appetizer to dessert, the flavor combinations were perfectly put together. Some of the favors I would never have thought to put together, like black pepper in cheesecake, but it was great! The staff are friendly and attentive, and very knowledgable about the menu and the wine selection. Special bar cocktails were outstanding, service is more polished, and the recent change of menu structure and offerings is a great plus.
