I have been to this restaurant before and everything was good. However, this time the food was still tasty but temperature wise, it was barely warm and long waiting time for the food. I was kind of disappointed.

Great appetizers. Well prepared pasta. Menu not extensive and many items were unavailable but what was there was done nicely. Nothing super exceptional to put it in the 5 star category but a good, solid menu, service and venue make it a decent choice for a nice meal.

Went before going to see Falstaff. Ambience was great, the before theatre Prix fixee menu was great. Portions were good, price was a bit more than what I would typically pay for a night out, however considering the neighbourhood it was quite reasonable. Excellent wait staff, very friendly.

A date at the opera went really well. Greatly enhanced by a pre-theatre fixed price delightful meal at Little Anthony's. Refreshing beet salad, sumptuous salmon and a tiramisu melting in your mouth. Then to walk across on time and under budget to a world-class opera. Fantastico!

Hate to leave negative reviews - but I just wasn't impressed with Little Anthony's. I came here looking for a quick bite to eat before I headed back to my hotel, and was disappointed with both the food and the service I received. Both my partner and myself were unsatisfied with the meals that we received - and it took about 15 minutes for our plates to be cleared after we clearly looked like we wanted to leave. The vibe in the restaurant is great as its buzzing with people and energetic. The view out to the street is also pretty nice. It's a little dark inside - but not so dark that it would ruin your evening. Unfortunately, I would not come back nor recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Really enjoyed our meal at Little Anthony's. The setting was elegant but comfortable. Service was excellent.. everything from the complimentary bread with olive oil, to the appetizer (bacon wrapped dates) and the pasta dishes we ordered tasted great. I especially recommend the tagliatelle alla bolognese. Pasta cooked perfectly and the sauce was excellent.. Great dining experience.

Little Anthony's serves well-prepared Italian fare in a central downtown location, very handy to the Four Seasons Centre, which is just across the street. After a recent renovation, the restaurant is bright and airy without being too severely modern. Bacon-wrapped, gorgonzola stuffed dates are an interesting appetizer. No big surprises among the main courses. Bistecca con gnocchi very tasty on last visit.

I went here very early, right when they opened for dinner. I love quiet and was dining alone so wanted to enjoy my book. I was not disappointed as the restaurant was empty except for myself and two other diners the entire time I was there. Service was quick and attentive, the food was the perfect temperature and delicious and the table was comfortable. I had the ravioli, which was very flavorful, a tad bit sweet but still delicious. The plate is quite small but perfectly sized if you know you want some dessert. The piece of tiramisu I had was wonderful but huge! The coffee wasn't bad but found it quite bitter. My glass of wine was inexpensive but good as well. Overall I was satisfied with the meal and it cost me about $50.

Had a dinner business meeting at the restaurant. Liked the fact that the tables are well spaced and the service is great. Had some interesting wine choices :) The bacon, gorgonzola wrapped dates appetizer is excellent, as is the mushroom brushcetta. However, the Spaghetti Pomodoro with Meatballs was disappointing -- red sauce was bland, pasta was a little overcooked. Still would go back, but would order a different dish.

Went for pre-theatre dinner - a nice ambiance, and good attention by server -- not busy at that time of the evening. We wanted to take advantage of the Summerlicious, except my husband decided to take the appetizer from Summerlicious menu and a main course from the regular menu. The 3-course summerlicious menu is $35 -- but they charged him $16.50 for the appetizer which we raised, but they did not want to adjust it -- they listed it on the bill as Shrimp Scampi, rather than muscles which was the dish-- and charged it that way. Not good customer service for return business.

This restaurant is a favourite. The remodeling a couple of years ago makes it very attractive, and the food is excellent. I visited with a group of co-workers recently, and we have been jinxed with bad service, forgotten reservations, bad food and just generally uncomfortable experiences at many top TO restaurants, despite them being fine for a 2 or 4 person lunch. This time, everything was perfect and we all walked away happy.

Little Anthony's was great! My gf and I went this past weekend as a part of our "being tourists in our own town" adventure. Quiet, beautiful ambiance, and the waitress was awesome from beginning to end. We got: Caesar salad to share as a starter, bottle of Chianti, risotto (with added mushrooms), steak and gnnochi. The food was DELICIOUS, very savory, and was great quality. Gf would not stop talking about the risotto for entire next day - it was that good. Would definitely return and try other items on their dinner menu. I was just surprised it wasn't more booked on a Saturday night. We went for 9:15pm. Definitely recommended!

Took some friends here for a pre-opera dinner. We arrived just 75 minutes before show time. Rachel's service was excellent. She kept one eye on the clock for us, recommended dishes that would ensure we did not miss the curtain rise and showed genuine concern for our predicament. The restaurant is a quick 2 minute walk to the Four Seasons Centre and has a tasty yet light menu for a pre-opera bite.

Food lacked flavour. The tomato sauce in the spaghetti with the chicken parmigiana looked like a tube of purée had been squeezed onto the plate. Food presentation bad - lacking imagination. The shrimp scampi was good though. Convenient for going to the opera but I wouldn't choose it for the food or service. Despite having a reservation, we got a table for 4 beside a line of tables. When asked if we could have a different table - many were empty - we were told they were reserved and next time request a window table. An indifferent waitress and bad service didn't help.

I went here with a group of 6 family members, and it was a great location for that. The food is pretty good Italian, the service was attentive, and not super speedy (there was good spacing between courses), and the noise level is not so high that we couldn't chat. It's a great location by some downtown hotels and near the subway, which is nice. I would recommend Little Anthony's for anyone looking for a good place for a double date or family dinner (there were some kids who were a bit older - 10ish or so, there, but none younger).

This was our second dinner here in the same trip to Toronto. We had a different server this time and she was also extremely pleasant and efficient. The atmosphere is relaxed and the employees seem to genuinely enjoy working there. While the restaurant offers a great fixed menu for theatre nights, we had no problem ordering a la carte at our 6pm seating, with enough time to walk to The Royal Alexandra for an 8pm show. We'll return!
