Based on a social sharing concept, Lippi’s extensive menu includes an abundance of fresh seafood like ceviches, crudos and tartars; pastas and risottos; in-season salads; caviar, and specialty grilled meats.

  • "Our group of 6 was very disappointed in the dinner we experienced. We were seated inside the restaurant and the music level made it impossible for us to talk. We moved to the outside and found that although the sound level was better it was still way too loud. We asked the server to please turn it down but they failed to do so. We thought that the food was good but the service was very mediocre and we won't be coming back."

  • "This high end, chic dining room features the former Biltmore Chef who is ROCKING the food scene in Brickell. Expertly prepared small tasting plates of foie gras, crudo, crispy cod and oysters were all to die for. Entrees were almost as good as the fall of your diet side dishes of creamy risotto, potato (butter) puree and expertly cooked vegetables. Best wine list in town and the service works as a team, seamlessly blending in between each course. Try and stop "Chef Philippe" as he makes his way around the dining room nightly...he is awesome and a treat to talk with."

Lamb chops=unreal, but any dish could impress the biggest foodie. You will be a happy customer no matter what. Service is friendly and professional. They know the right time to ask if everything is going well, never interrupting at a bad time. I will always go back to Lippi for any occasion. The food doesn't fit in any category of American or French or Japanese -- it's just masterfully prepared dishes for any mood you're in. That simple. Worth the money every time :).   • "We sat outside on a beautiful cool Miami night. Extremely loud inside, very loud outside. Food was excellent, minimalist, relying on quality ingredients. Farro/beet salad was amazing, as was the duck. Expensive, tho. I would have loved to try the Dover sole but it was $72. They also charged a $45 corkage fee."

  • "I was excited to try dinner at Lippi, but was disappointed for the price. I thought the menu was a little limited for such an upscale restaurant. The waiter over emphasized the idea of sharing each course of the meal at least 2-3 times each time he came to the table. After a dozen total times, we got it, everyone is expected to share! I am a particular eater, so I left very hungry after I shared 75% of each smaller course of what I wanted. Nice atmosphere, but not anywhere I will frequent often due to price and what I was actually able to enjoy."

  • "This is the first time I have ever written a review because I have to let people know how ridiculously small the portions are.... even if it's tapa portions meant for sharing. The price is outrageous! My husband and I spent over $200.00 on four tapa plates and a bottle of "not expensive wine". We left restaurant and ended up sharing a second dinner somewhere else and a dessert! With all the great places that area has to offer and all of the new restaurants opening up, I don't think Lippi will last longer then a year!"

The food, wine list and service are worth it....just make sure you know what you are getting into or else you won't enjoy it. The outdoor space is really special.   • "The restaurant is conveniently located in the heart of Brickell with a beautiful high ceiling, contemporary look with a more conservative crowd compared to other restaurants in the area. Menu had a nice selection and our dishes were very tasty however the portions were minimal, truly tiny tapas size, I would not recommend to friends and clients with a healthy appetite. If you are a dessert fanatic like me, I would recommend the chocolate dessert platter for two that was priced at $12 per person again all in tiny sizes but very tasty. Lora."

I don't think the management staff understand how important service is for our town. They should get some lessons for Il Gabiano.   • "It is always a pleasure to return to Lippi. With so many wonderful menu items to choose from we are continually delighted. From the crudos and ceviches to the grains and rare treats like truffled scrambled eggs and truffle-topped pizza, to serious eats like sweetbreads, duck breasts and lamb chops the food is exquisite. While ordering a veal chop the waiter was very specific about how we wanted it cooked and it came out perfectly. You can create your own meal or order plates to share with the table. Desserts are delightful, with a wide variety from ices, creams, pastries, candies, cakes and other treats. The wines are intelligently selected and not ridiculously overpirced. Don't miss this!"

Skip your neighborhood gem and head downtown for Miami's best new dining experience. The well rounded menu has something for everyone. The courses were well presented and the food quality and taste are excellent. Cost may prevent this from being a weekly dinner spot, but the value is incredible. This is the best service (called by your proper name, throughout the course of the meal) food delivered and timed perfectly and great drinks and wine, make the price point an afterthought. Go to this restaurant for a great night out."
