Lingersat in the corner?I was kinda bummed that we were sat at the smallest, most crowded table for two in the entire resteraunt for a 5:45pm reservation when there were very nice two person booths open, not in the middle of a bunch of people, so that definitely took away from the experience. I made reservations ahead of time, avoiding any possible wait time. The food and drinks came out with perfect timing even though the place was busy. Everyone was happy with the menu selection and all enjoyed selected dishes.
The only small annoyance was our very good server neglected to offer split checks. We were clearly separate couples and would have appreciated an offer to simplify our payments (never fun as the accountant to have to calculate checks after a meal), especially since computer systems make it reasonably easy on servers' ends. The start off with a cup of popcorn seasoned with spices, the Red Lentil Dahl with the crunchy pieces of lentils, the chicken b'stilla, and finishing up with the Peanut Butter Bar....it was an amazing and DELICIOUS journey through food. All the portions were small which made my dining experience even more enjoyable. If you haven't been to this restaurant, treat yourself because you're in for food flavors that you typically can't find at one single restaurant. The table was waiting for us. No wait at all. The server was friendly and attentive. The food selection was great. Several of us are vegetarians and there were enough options for us. The restaurant has many levels with cosmo but comfortable decor. The service was unhurried and attentive, the recommendations were all spot on and food came out simple, fresh and delicious. Buffet special cocktails are $3. Tried the coconut fizz drink. Yum. They put the lime in the coconut and ginned it all up. . Four or five of the dishes vied for my order and both of ours came out mmmmm, mmm good. Sides of bacon were perfectly cooked. Their take on brussels sprouts is unusual and tasty. The plates are on the small side but oh man the food is excellent! The BBQ tacos are to die for and they make the best Pad Thai I think I've ever eaten. There were 4 of us at the table and we each had to order 2 plates in order to get a decent meal out of it. The good thing though is that the food is made to share so it's easy to order a bunch of different plates and pass them around the table. The food was more satisfying, the waiter was friendly and knowledgable, and the atmosphere was great. Can't beat the view from the Roof!
