If you are looking for a very very casual place to dine...this is your place. The impression we got when using the Open Table App was that this restaurant was a much nicer place to dine at. Think of Panda Express with a waitress. The food was just okay

My sister and I took my mom to celebrate mother's day. We enjoyed our meal and the service. It would have been nice had the management spoken with the parents of the child that was allowed to sit at a table in the middle of the restuarant and scream for 25 minutes, but I guess they didn't want to upset them...

Intereting menu, mixed cuisine but still nicely integrated. I didn't get the feeling that the concept was attempting to be several things without some real thought about what would work. That can be hard to pull off, but the creators of Ling & Louie's managed it well. Food was good, as was the service. Excellent location and the atmosphere was as one would expect for the location, which is high-end, but comfortable. I will definitely return.

The variety of food on the menu made me wonder if they could do it all well but everything we ordered was delicious. A plus was that they have Happy Hour until 7 so we paid half price on many of the items we ordered. Good food, drink, and good service. Nice ambiance and comfortable seating as well. No complaints at all and I am planning on going back soon.

Our reservations were for 6:45 on a Saturday. The restaurant was about half full and we were seated promptly. Seemed like L&L's attracts a somewhat later (and younger) crowd, and it filled up while we were there. Service was very good, patient and attentive, the best part of our experience. The menu is quite large but with a lot more contributions from Ling than from Louie. Overall, the food was typical of an up-scale chain - slightly above average but nothing special, but with a very active bar. Given the competition in this category, I suspect that their repeat customers will come to drink and stay to eat.

We were very dissappointed with the meal ... Panda Express or Pei Wei would had been better. The best item was the Lettuce Wraps. But why do they give three lettuce leaves with two people at the table. The meat serving would had made four wraps. The Mongolian Filet Mignon was bland, swimming in sauce, and lacking meat {~less than 4 oz). The Curry Noodels was bland also. The noodles tasted like ramen and the sauce (again too much) was goopy. I don't know if I would go back again.

The food was great. The waiter seemed to be rushing us. He picked up plates of food we had not finished. We sat down at 6:45 and were done with appetizers and dinner at 7:15. He brought one water to one person at the table. He brought us the check without asking if we wanted anything else. He was pleasant but moved us right out. He gave us a box to box up our leftovers. I think they are still working out the kinks. The food was really good, but we did not feel welcome at all.

First time visit, stumbled on to this restaurant (may be a chain ? not sure) using Open Table when landing in Phoenix on our way to Sedona. Looking for southwest cuisine? The food here was outstanding as was the service. It is located in a very busy shopping mall in Scottsdale, so that was a surprise, but the food was so good I hated for the meal to end! If I lived here I would eat here regularly. One of the best southwest restaurants ever. I hope to come back.

The service is very good but the food is terrible. The sea bass dish, the shrimp dish as well as the beef burro dish are just bland and covered with sugary sweet sauce. This is no Mexican cuisine. We all had apple crisp for dessert and they are ok.

The margaritas were amazing, cold and slushy from the first sip to the last! We ordered the chicken burro and meatloaf and weren't disappointed. Also had the small salads, which were very generous portions. The chips were slightly greasy which is unusual because the first two visits for lunch, the chips were light and crispy. Overall, great food and service. Will definitely be back again and again!

    Dined on 8/31/2012
We went for a birthday dinner, we were not disappointed at all. My husband ordered the meatloaf which was to die for! I had the Carne Asado Tacos and the rest of the family had the Chimichanga and the hamburger which was the least flavorful of all the entrees. The sticky rice was as delicious as everyone had told us it would be. The server was good, however when dinner was done she brought the check without asking for dessert selections. We asked for a dessert menu and she verbally told us the items they had, she led us to believe that dessert was not that great, so we went to another place for coffee and dessert.

Awesome fish tacos made with red snapper! So good and the slaw that went on it, excellent, gave it a great flavor.
