Always enjoy Lindey's. As usual, I waited to hear the specials and chose the Arctic char over sweet potato purée with brussel sprouts. It was wonderful. However, our wait to hear the specials was a bit longer than expected. And the wait for everything was longer than should be expected. I believe the bartender was actually our server, which is unusual here. But we were late for our reservation, so maybe this was our only option. We always enjoy our experience at Lindey's for clients and the lack of attention this time was just disappointing.

Got there a little early and was offered a table by the door. We passed since it was busy and it was very close to the hostess station. Decided to have drinks in the bar and wait for our table. Right on time the hostess found us and we were seated. The couple with us had never been to Lindey's and were not disappointed. The server was friendly and had a great sense of humor. All four meals were excellent. Still our favorite place to dine in Columbus.

When my wife and I first entered the restaurant, the noise level was annoying for a nice sit down meal. As it turned out, the front dining area is also the bar area and is quite noisy. We were taken to a room that was buffered from the noise. I don't believe we would have stayed if we had been seated in the first or second rooms.

Just celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary there. Best patio dining in Colunbus. Food was awesome. Ambiance unparalled. But all of that paled in comparison to our server Jenny. She was very professional and friendly. She gave us great recommendations and made our night much more enjoyable. So if you go, sit on the patio and hope you have Jenny as your server!

Had reservations for 2, was asked if we wanted indoor or outdoor despite having specified in the reservation, plenty of open tables, yet seated in a busy intersection inside. By a window, which was then distracted painfully by flashing lights of emergency vehicle: can't fault the restaurant for this, but still rather painful. Quick to get menu, but slow to get drinks, food, service during meal (they also forgot my wives sandwich spread on the side), dessert menu, checking on if we WANT anything from the dessert menu, and finally billing (and getting receipt back from billing). Food was room temperature when received, portions were either too small or overpowered (could not taste chicken in sandwich). Salad had unwelcome blue cheese.

The dining room is loud. The waiter gave us a few minutes to order but then seemed to disappear. The food was good but only lukewarm. We asked the server to split the bill but still put the charges on same card. On this occasion I would not recommend it but other occasions have been much better.

This was our 4th trip to Lindey's and once again it was great. We were here on 9/6 to celebrate our 28th anniversary, and were hoping for a superb experience like our previous trips. Lindey's delivered. Consistency on great food and great service. Loads of ambiance too... food prepared precisely as we ordered, timely and so delicious. I've yet to have anything that wasn't amazing from their menu. Helpful, conscientious but not hovering waitstaff. We'll be back.

We had late lunch on a Saturday. It was. It that busy but service extremely slow. We had to ask when our food would be coming. I had the fish tacos and the fish was a small bite and heavily breaded. I've had fish tacos at other restaurants and the fish was flaked, not breaded. My sister's food was barely warm. Her pancake was slightly burned. Will not recommend this restaurant to friends.

We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary at Lindey's, and wanted a place that was as special as was the day. We were not disappointed. We were seated promptly, even though we arrived about 30 minutes early. We chose to sit on the patio, which was a very romantic place with the flowers and trees. Our waiter was courteous and knowledgeable about the extensive wine selection. The Scott pinot noir was a great selection. I had the shrimp and lobster risotto and my other half had the mini steaks with Bearnaise sauce. Both were served in a timely manner and came to the table hot. We were not rushed, unlike what was mentioned in some of the other reviews. Overall, we were impressed with all aspects of our dining experience.

We went for lunch on a Friday. It was packed, so reservations are always a good thing! I had strawberry salad topped with shrimp. The amount of shrimp was more than generous, in fact I couldn't eat them all. It was a delicious summer lunch. My husband also had a salad, which was great. Service (by Frankie) was superb.

Even though we spent about an hour and a half at our meal, we almost felt rushed, the service was so efficient. The food was attractively presented and tasted delicious. I had the filet mignon, which was excellent, although not the best cut of beef I've had. It was slightly difficult to cut, but tender to chew. Overall we enjoyed our evening tremendously, would just like for it to have lasted about 2 hours. We were looking for some place different for our special occasion restaurant, and were very successful!

Lindeys has the best patio in Columbus. Unfortunately, not the best food. My salad was literally a spring mix from Kroger with some oil on it. Super disappointing. The kale Caesar sucked as well- Harvest pizza has a better one. My crab cake was pretty good, my fiends lobster risotto was undercooked along with my other friends burger. I have been for brunch and I think it's a better menu for that time of day. Lindeys- update your menu and get a new garde manger.

Visited Columbus for a long weekend and had to be sure to visit Lindy's. Great service, great food and a wonderful outdoor dining/bar space as well. German Village is such a wonderful backdrop for Lindy's. Hubby had the grouper and he said it was probably the best he has had. I had the shrimp and lobster risotto- there were so many shrimp I could not eat them all! A shared appetizer, a cocktail each as well as a glass of wine each and I think the pre tip bill was right around $105.00. Will return next time we are in Columbus!
