   Wonderful night out. Gorge view of Lincoln Center water feature and perfect for people watching. Our server, Amrit, made it very special. More restaurants need to have him run their programs to help servers to learn how! Going back and will request Amrit.

   Love LINCOLN and go frequently. It’s elegant and quiet. On 5/10, we only ordered a pasta and one drink…and yet, our server (Shannon who is terrific) gave us a high level of service as if we had ordered far more. The teamwork at Lincoln is fantastic and the staff is friendly. Fantastic food! New seasonal menu…which we liked.

   Excellent food preparation However, my wife and I have been dining at Lincoln prior to the NYC Ballet for 10 years The expansive menu of the past is now 6 appetizers, 6 pasta entrees and one meat and one chicken entrée If you are not a pasta lover this is not your restaurant In addition, one cocktail, one appetizer, one pasta and a shared dessert was $125 per person with tax and tip The ambiance and service can not be beat Not sure when we will return again

   As always, the food at this restaurant is delicious, but I would like to mention an addition to the usual menu that I saw yesterday -- a seasonal selection of a pasta and fish. I had the pasta, spaghettoni with ramp pesto. I had the dish with a white wine -- vermentino -- that complemented it perfectly. Try it, you'll like it!

   We had dinner before going to John Williams music at NY Philharmonic. Our server Amit was great. He knew we were going to the show and kept a perfect pace to the meal. Amit and the rest of the staff were very friendly. Not the biggest portions, but the food was delicious. As we were celebrating my wife’s birthday Amit brought over a dessert on the house. All in all a wonderful experience.

   Frankly disappointed. My martini arrived with a twist instead of an olive. The server took it away and replaced the twist with an olive without having the cocktail made again. Disgusting. The lemon was clearly noticeable. Clearly understaffed. They tried so hard but our meal was delayed and largely overcooked. What happened to Lincoln? So disappointing. Regardless of being right at Lincoln Center, it’s off our list for now.

   Food was delicious. The spring peas salad with burrata, although a scant portion, was excellent. The cavatelli was solid. The deconstructed cheesecake was less successful. The ambiance and view can’t be beat. The service was efficient and friendly.
