   Good food, but way too expensive. lovely atmosphere. Great waitstaff. I wish there were more choices on the menu.

   We had dinner before going to John Williams music at NY Philharmonic. Our server Amit was great. He knew we were going to the show and kept a perfect pace to the meal. Amit and the rest of the staff were very friendly. Not the biggest portions, but the food was delicious. As we were celebrating my wife’s birthday Amit brought over a dessert on the house. All in all a wonderful experience.

   Food was delicious. The spring peas salad with burrata, although a scant portion, was excellent. The cavatelli was solid. The deconstructed cheesecake was less successful. The ambiance and view can’t be beat. The service was efficient and friendly.

   The Lincoln never disappoints. Attentive Servers. Food is excellent. Timeliness of service. We choose this restaurant every time we can for dinner either before an evening performance or after a matinee. It is so convenient to Lincoln Center. It is truly the best option for dining on the plaza.

   Alas, Lincoln has really gone downhill as a great pre-opera place to dine. Food quality remains high, though the menu is more limited than it was even 2 years ago. Service was atrocious this visit. Was it the kitchen or the server? Hard to say. Inside, there were quite a few empty tables but outside was packed. But arriving at 6:15 and not getting our entrees until 7:25 is unacceptable. And 10 minutes to get our check processed? Definitely an inexperienced server.

   Lincoln Ristorante is the best place for pre- and post-theater dining at or near Lincoln Center. I'm not sure why these Open Table reviews don't have pre-theater as a category on which to rate a restaurant (along with "neighborhood gem," or "good for special occasions"). But for us, commuting from New Jersey to attend a concert,opera, theater, or ballet at Lincoln Center, Lincoln Ristorante is a pre-theater gem, and we feel lucky that the most convenient restaurant is also the best.

   Very tasty and delicious cuisine, including the cocktails. Excellent service. A must come for any visitor to the city

    I love the setting and ambience. However tbe menu is too limited. The only dish that works for someone who prefers a simply prepared dinner is the chicken, which is okay. Suggestion is a grilled fish offering. Also difficult for someone who is lactose intolerant.
