A word from Lincoln Ristorante
At Lincoln Ristorante, we offer our interpretation of modern Italian cuisine in New York at Lincoln Center. Our philosophy is simple: to source the best local ingredients and prepare them with authentic Italian methods and spirit. While our location beside Lincoln Center’s reflecting pool is exquisite, with panoramic views and a grass lawn roof, the heart of our restaurant is the central open kitchen.

The menu offers our take on traditional preparations ranging from spaghetti al pomodoro to vitello tonnato and simply grilled branzino. Antipasti coax rustic ingredients into dishes with deep, savory flavors. Desserts are beautiful renditions of Italy’s classics: light, lush and irresistible.

While reservations are recommended to ensure a table, walk-ins are welcome at our bar where the full menu is served. We are open seven days a week offering lunch, pre-theater, dinner and weekend brunch.

Lincoln Ristorante is consistently wonderful. The staff is professional, helpful and always friendly - they go above and beyond to make dining there a total pleasure. The food is fabulous - do not miss the butternut squash ravioli - and they send you off with a small box of treats for you to enjoy at intermission! This is a truly fabulous restaurant.

We were impressed, to say the least. The all-glass enclosure makes for a wonderful dining experience. The food overall and the little things made perfect sense. Would recommend it as a quintessential NY experience. We have eaten in dozens of well reviewed restaurants in NY. This belongs at the top.

This was my second time dining at Lincoln and it was just as wonderful as the first. We were seated with a lovely view of the reflecting pool and the kitchen, both fascinating, each in their own way. The food was delicious, the service was wonderful, and it was the perfect complement to our evening of ballet across the plaza. I'll be back!

Lincoln is a pleasure from the moment one is seated! The front room is my favorite. The glass let's one look out yet it reflects the light of the room back in a romantic hue. All four of us devoured each course. The dinner was beautifully served as well. Wine by the glass was stunning! Lincoln is a tour de force!

Beautiful interior, comfortable seats, fabulous food and wine and it was quiet enough for conversation! The restaurant is a favorite for folks attending performances at Lincoln Center, but if you make a 7 or 7:30 reservation, the restaurant empties out and is delightfully quiet. It is so rare to find the combination of great food and tranquil surroundings. I will be a regular whenever I am in New York.

Hi- We found this at another patina restaurant recently- Brasserie 8 1/2. They give you small portions of wine and martinis so that you need to buy a second to make it through dinner. Bad corporate policy!!!! Good way to lose clients. Thus the downgraded rating for them.

Party of four for my birthday. Great experience. Perhaps the best unpretentious service in New York. Love the Negroni bar and the captain's ability to suss out the perfect combo of gin, vermouth and Campari-look-alike based on your mood. Italian-regional menu is always a pleasure. Current offering not their best, but still better than 95% of restaurant offerings in the city. And you are looking out on Lincoln Center or Juilliard. Absolutely my favorite big deal evening in the city. I always feel special here.

We were surprised by the abrupt service at Lincoln Ristorante. The food was so delicious and some of the wait staff were well-mannered by our main waiter was cold and unhelpful. I wonder if he is in the right job; perhaps customer service is not for him. We did, however, think the food was outstanding.

A friend's birthday dinner. Previously dinners were wonderful. Maybe the chef was out. The menu was ore limited than I recall. The eggplant with Burrata was overcooked and dry. The Burrata with Proscuitto was tasty, but skimpy and the radicchio too strong for the combination. The octopus was excellent, on its own would have been a stunner. There were only two miniscule pieces of the octopus combined with shrimp and sea scallops. The shrimp were very good. The menu said the scallops were "partially cooked". But mine were just plain raw. The wines by the glass were interesting and varied. The service could not have been better, but the meal was a dissappointment. We'll all be lucky if it was a one time off night.

My wife ate here shortly after it opened and enjoyed it very much, but for me it was a much anticipated first time visit. We enjoyed the decor and the location next to Lincoln Center, but the food was disappointing. I rarely have trouble finding dishes I enjoy, but oddly the selections were not very appealing. The beef, which our waiter said was so good, was merely adequate, and the appetizers were tasteless. I enjoyed my pasta dish filled with butternut squash but my wife did not enjoy her squid ink pasta. Even the deserts were ho hum. If you have a nut allergy you choices will be severely limited. The prices were reasonable for a restaurant that aspires to rise above the crowd. The problem for us was that it got lost among the masses.
