Lincoln KitchenLoved it.Went to Lincoln Kitchen on a Saturday night with friends. Asked for a booth when I made the reservation and was told they could definitely do that for me. I was considering a different restaurant who "could not guarantee a booth on a Saturday night", so chose Lincoln Kitchen instead. Glad I did. The food was great, the service was attentive and the prices were reasonable. We will be back. We had a reservation and were sat right away. We had the Buffalo Chicken flat bread appetizer. It was crispy and spicy but not too much heat. My entree was the the mignon salad. This was the best steak salad I have ever had. The greens were crisp, the steak was just the right doneness, and all of the ingredients complemented each other well. My husband ordered the fish and chips which was very good and I ordered the Parmesan Crusted Filet. I also ordered a Mai Thai which really tasted like a "Lemonhead" piece of candy which they gladly exchanged for a "Flirtini" which I preferred and now is one of my fave drinks.

I have been here 3 times and have not managed to step outside of the Manhattan. It is just classic great flavor, The Best Manhattan i've had under $15.00 ever and its $7.00. The Chips & Salsa are great much better then most of the Mexican food places in the area. The menu has a little bit of everything and some decent side options. There was enough of a crowd to have energy and in our booth, it was still quiet enough that we could talk. But we were very disappointed in our meal. For the prices, we expected more. The food was good, but we do much better at home. My salmon was overdone. It was grilled and some parts of it were charred so that I was unable to chew through it. My husband's steak was good but ordinary. The house salad was wonderful, as was the service. I think we would go back and try their burgers, but we were very unimpressed with our dinners. After trying their wonderful ribs last time, this trip focused on salads; I had the filet mignon Cobb salad and my companion opted for the Caesar salad. We each supported our salad entres with the signature wild mushroom soup - a real treat! I wouldn't hesitate to duplicate my order on a future trip.

The food was outstanding, and if you have kids, the kiddie menu was $2.99! My oldest got ribs, carrots with dressing and a lemonade for $2.99! You cannot beat that! They have 125 different types of Whiskey which made my hubby very happy and their craft beer selection was impressive as well! We've gone mostly on Sunday afternoons to catch a game and the place is usually empty, but on a Friday night the place is packed so reservations are a must. Our waiter was attentive although he kept pushing us to order so he could reduce his trips to the kitchen. The scotch, whiskey and beers that the table had were all well received. The food was great as always. I had the filet for the first time and had always been skeptical due to the price ($27). Living in the city and being a patron of the big steakhouses downtown, $27 for a filet is super cheap. She never rushed us, and took time explaining the menu (which is not large, by any means, but all the food was quite exceptional) and the specials. Very reasonably priced, especially the cocktails. My mom is a huge manhattan fan and to be able to order a nice sized drink for $7 was a very good deal. I started with a Manhattan which was excellent while deciding what to get for a entree, My wife chose the blue cheese filet which she says was properly cooked (medium) with a Ceasar's side salad. I chose the full slab of BBQ Ribs with the whiskey BBQ sauce, The ribs were excellent and I think they could be the best Ive ever had!
