"We went early on a Monday, so it wasn't crowded. The food was good and the place is cute. The ambiance could be a bit nicer for the price, but there are $12 crepes if you don't want to spend too much money."

"Foods tasted good when they were hot. The plain taste quickly set in when they started to turn cold. Good foods taste good no matter the temperature. Too expensive for two. Twenty percent tip was the killer. Not worth going back."

"The food was very good here (hazel nut-crusted salmon and truffle fries), but the service was horrendous. We waited a total of 40 mins for the check and that was only 1/2 of the issue. It's a shame the service is lacking...the ambiance and the food were terrific."

"so disappointing after reading favorable reviews here and on Zagat's. service was slow and uninspired. out of several things on the menu. steak and au poivre sauce were very good, but Brussels sprouts were undercooked and nothing special. no second chance here, folks. up your game or you are not long for the NYC restaurant world!"

"The restaurant was not very crowded on a Thursday early evening, though it should be-- service was great, food was great and reasonably priced, and the place is very cute. I got the coq au vin (yum!) and my friend got the blackened shrimp salad. Both were very good, as were the specialty drinks we got beforehand (I had the spicy margarita, she had the caprihina). Would definitely go back."
