The service was excellent & our server had a great sense of humor & was very attentive. The food was great - I picked my entree from the "specials of the day" & my wife chose from the regular menu. We both had a great meal. My wife selected a seafood & pasta dish & asked if they could hold the scallops. Not only did they hold the scallops as requested, but they also added extra crabmeat to her dish - it was nice to see a restaurant make an attempt to ensure that there customer was getting the full value of the cost of the meal. The soup was fresh and well made, though the flavored weren't very bold, the clams were well cleaned and tasted great in the white wine reduction sauce. The tiramisu I've got to say was rather average. I had the Chilean Sea Bass Puttenesca which i've had before and this was the best. My Husband had the Osso Bucco special on a bed or risotto which both were delicious. Our waiter suggested to us a desert which is not on the menu. It was the limoncello pound cake grilled served with vanilla gelato. This was incredible. We dine at Limoncello's frequently and this desert has never been offered to us before. It is by far the best desert there. I don't understand why it's not part of the menu. The staff was very attentive, and helped us enjoy a long leisurely lunch on Saturday- from 12 to 3:40, and we felt entirely welcome the entire time (thanks, Gabriella). I had heard great things about their buffet, which unfortunately was not available (it is M-F and sometimes Sat), but we ended up really enjoying the Antipasto Limoncello and dessert. We had a window table, which we enjoyed, though the lamps hang a bit low when you walk around, and I kept bumping into one of the decorations (I am 6'5") that crowded the table (the price of ambiance).

We had to wait (party of 5) for around 10 min. which was no big deal except there was no place to stand. Small bar was packed and it was too cold to wait outside. The restaurant mgmt. should rethink the entryway area to accommodate waiting guests a bit better. Food and Service were top notch as usual, anf they adjusted the recipe to suit our needs on a Friday during Lent. I'd never show up without an OpenTable reservation. My only complaint is they are a victim of their own success, so its always crowded and quite noisy. But go in knowing that it is a wonderful energetic vibe, and you will be impressed with the execution. Will return again and again.
