Limon Rotisserie - ValenciaGreat food. Generous portions;Great food. Generous portions; don't over-order. Roast chicken specialty is terrific. Half chicken enough for two. Peruvian specialties like ceviche also excellent. For Giants fans, Pablo Sandoval frequents the restaurant!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMSave the cost of airfare to LimaWe started with a signature prawn and snapper ceviche. This is the rotisserie branch of the mother restaurant, go for the chicken! - a quarter sized white meat special was more than adequate for both of us (get half size, if only ordering one entree). It's accompanied by three sauces and 2 choices of sides (veggies; yucca, sweet potato or french fries; beans and rice; salad). Because the carne empanadas were out, we reluctantly ordered the chicken ones. They turned out to be excellent. We also had the wonderful beet/potato salad. We had excellent pisco based cocktails- let the waitperson guide you to sweet, tart or fruity ones. Portions are quite ample, so unless you plan to take food home, choose conservatively- you can always order more.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways a pleasure to dine hereFood and service were great as always. One of my favorite restaurant in the city and by far the best Peruvian in the city.5/7/2013 12:00:00 AMJust a great overall diningJust a great overall dining expereince what can I say! Awesome place for a small group of 4-6 because you can try a bunch of small dishes. Also, very nicely priced. We always leave feeling stuffed! And it's really fun to try so many dishes.4/21/2013 12:00:00 AMHave been to this particularHave been to this particular eating establishment several times and it seems to get better each time. The food, service and atmosphere leaves you with a sense of fulfillment. One of the better Peruvian spots in town.4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food at Limon was excellent. The food at Limon was excellent. The chicken was a tender and moist as could be. The dipping sauces were excellent, as well. Although, they had only 1 hot dipping sauce. The only down side, was you were restricted when you ordered the chicken. You had to pick 2 sides rather than one of the other small plates. Service was attentive.4/2/2013 12:00:00 AMGo here if you love ceviche!Delicious Peruvian fare. Best ceviche I've had in San Francisco.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways a great dining experience.Always a great dining experience. The rotisserie chicken is outstanding. Love everything I've ever had there. The waiters are really top notch.3/28/2013 12:00:00 AMDelicious!!!The food was absolutely delicious and bursting with flavor. Everything comes family style and they are all small plates, so it's a great place to order a bunch of things to share with the group.3/25/2013 12:00:00 AMYum!Delicious food, reasonably priced, friendly and helpful waiters. By 6pm on Friday the volume was pretty loud so if you're really trying to have a conversation it can be difficult. We had the chicken and the ceviche mixto, yucca fries and tacu-tacu. I would definitely recommend it with a suggestion to come early for dinner if you want it quieter.3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways reliably good foodAlways reliably good food and efficient and friendly service. The grilled chicken with sides of sweet potato fries and tuc-tuc (nicely seasoned rice and beans), ceviches of various sorts, and a variety of drinks (really good whisky sours) make this a go-to destination for lunch. I haven't been here for dinner, so I can't comment on that.3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMEverything was really good!Everything was really good! The only thing I do not appreciate was them rushing us to pay the bill and leave.3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMOverall the restaurant wasOverall the restaurant was great! The service was a little rushed. The waiter was very flat and boarder annoyed. Cocktails are great! They are not watered down at all! The food is AMAZING! I would recommend this place to everyone.3/20/2013 12:00:00 AMTop Ten!While the restaurant is listed in the top 100 restaurants for San Francisco, we'd put it in the top 10! Excellent service, wonderful Pisco Sours, succulent ceviche...raves from our entire party of five. And it's reasonably priced too.3/17/2013 12:00:00 AMGive your review a title (optional)WOW, what a place. This restaurant provided a variety of Peruvian dishes reminded me of being in Peru. The Pisco Sours were made the traditional way with egg whites and were delicious. A great selection of wines local and from South America. There was so much on the menu that we opted for a varied selection of appetizers that were fantastic. We will definitely be returning in order to have items on the main course list.12/24/2012 12:00:00 AM
