Lilly's BistroReliably WonderfulWhenever the timing works--and we try to make it work--we stop in Louisville, and we dine at Lilly's. We ate smart this time: two items from the top of the menu, a salad and another small plate, so that we'd have room for dessert. The staff know the menu--our young lady was a delight, though she couldn't help me decide between caramel cake (with caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream) and roasted banana ice cream (with fudge sauce and peanut brittle); had to flip a coin. This was our first time as a group with nine people, no problems, everyone enjoyed the fest, food and wines, timing was good. Vibrant neighborhood, great location and the food was outstanding. I had the cod special and they allowed me to substitute rice for a side of their ham and pea risotto, which was awesome.
