A word from Lillie's
An Irish-Victorian Bar and Restaurant, just steps from Union Square. In the "Ladies' Mile District" of days gone by. The interior has a distinctly late 19th century feel with wooden furnishings brought from Belfast, Ireland.
Serving a wide range of domestic and international beers (20 on tap and 30 bottled). A great selection of whiskeys and wines, including some excellent wine from the Langtry Winery in California where Lillie herself owned and lived for a time.

The food is traditional Pub Fare, including soups, salads, stews, fish and steaks. The Irish Breakfast is served all day. Brunch at the weekends from 11am to 4pm.

Traditional Irish music session on Saturdays at 4pm.

I had a reservation for party of 4 on Sat. at 6 PM. The two ladies that were with us are 76 and 93 so I was a little concerned when I walked in with my husband but the wonderful host and hostess took such great care of us, moved us to quiet and comfortable alcove table. We felt like loved grandparents in this den of twenty somethings, The food was good but the service and kindness of the staff was truly exceptional. We will come again.

I had the mussels, stay away from those, small, dry and tasteless. They brought my mussels and then the accompanying bread, 10 minutes later. My friend had a burger and said it was great, but the fries were barely cooked and soggy, another person at our table had a burger and fries and their fries were perfect. Disappointing food

What a pleasure to find Lillie's tonight for some pre-theatre dinner! We loved the decor with the old columns, tin ceiling, mirrors, and paintings, not to mention the great jazz playing from a live group in the front. Our mescallin salad with goat cheese was delicious and our burgers were excellent accompanied by sweet potato fries. We will definitely return!

Cute cute cute place for brunch.... Food was good... Menu decent... Bloody Mary delicious... It seemed as if they were short staffed and the staff there distracted... Party of 3 we had to wait near 30 mins before having our order taken... Our cappuccinos did not arrive with meal... We needed to remind that we never got. In spite of this would try again because ambience was so attractive

The ambiance is terrific. The food and service were just good. Nothing bad - nothing great. However, we were there on a Saturday night and it was full-blown bar noise level, couldn't talk, music loud. If you're looking for that - great. But if you're eating dinner with someone, BAD. Also, the seating for dinner is VERY crowded no matter when you're there, all on high-tops, so not comfy.

LOVELY IRISH PUB. By chance they had live music in front of establishment which was outstanding and not overbearing. Background music so you were able to still speak at your table while enjoying dinner. The food was very good and diverse selection. Not just Irish, although we all had the typical sheperds pie/pot pie, etc. Service was fantastic, could not have been better. The ambiance was authentic and I felt like I was eating in Ireland more than I did at some pubs I actually visited while in Ireland. Prices were very fair and did not break the bank. We will go back again.

the burger with truffle fries was great... worth the extra $ for the truffle oil. Chicken pot pie was good. Desert was disappointing. The cake was a bit stale and the ice cream had freezer burn. The waitress was great! I would go back. All the chairs are bar height so if you are under 5 feet, it could be uncomfortable.

This place is really fun! The decor is eclectic and very warm. While it reminded me of New Orleans, it's roots are Irish Whiskey Tavern. There are countless brews on tap and in bottles, surprisingly good food, and lots to choose from, friendly wait staff, and a real party scene that makes it difficult to hear, but after a few drinks, who cares?! We had a blast!

Our first visit to Lillies recommended by a friend. Delicious burgers and casual fare is what we had. Service very good. One thing to remember, there are two Lillies restaurants and it turned out my reservation was not at the one I thought. One is Union Square and the other Times Square. So I almost ended up at the wrong place without a reservation. But I think both places are good as my friend went to one and I went to the other.

The space has high ceilings with a Victorian decor scheme. The drink selection is decent, the food is great, and if you go for lunch, they have a great special for a drink & sandwich/salad. I often go for lunch with my office, and I can't help but order the Reuben sandwich. So good. Most recently, though, I went with a group for dinner and ordered the house salad, which has truffle oil on it...YUM.

We weren't sure what to expect before we arrived and was pleasantly surprised to find a busy bar playing excellent music. The restaurant bit is at the bottom of the bar and we snaked our way through the packed bar to our very little table. The food was prompt and delicious and we would've liked to have stopped for a drink after but we we were exhausted. You could definatly go for the night, a great little find.

We chose this restaurant because we had movie tickets to a nearby theatre. Both of us had virgin Mary's and an omelet. I substituted salad for potatoes for which they charged $1 extra. Food was good but portions seemed small. The seating is all on high stool chairs. Not the most comfortable when garbed in cool weather clothes. Good enough but not great.
