LilliesA small but bright and cheeryA small but bright and cheery spot. A few steps from the National Zoo a great place for adults to enjoy a tasty lunch. If we lived in the neighborhood we would be regulars. The food was delicious and the service friendly. Too chilly a day to attempt out side dining but will in the future.4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent! My friend was looking for a place to host my Bridal Shower and found that Lillie's has a private room for such an event. We decided to eat there to get a feel for the place and absolutely enjoyed ourselves! The restaurant is quaint, not too noisy, excellent service and the food is superb. She had the swordfish and I had the chicken marsala. I would highly recommend Lillie's for your dining experience and we are looking forward to having my Bridal Shower there!4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMWe enjoyed our Easter breakfastWe enjoyed our Easter breakfast very much. We got to D.C. early and while our reservation was not for yet another hour, they worked us in - which gave our family more time to visit -- they didn't rush us at all. And the food was good and the service was watchful. It met expectations and then some.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMWe loved it and they accomodatedWe loved it and they accomodated our extra people we brought! They told us bring them no problem! My guests loved it and all was great!3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMA gem in the Woodley Park area. This is a gem not to be missed. When I stay in the Woodley Park area, I usually just hit the regular places by the Marriott/Omni - Woodley Cafe, Open City, Murphy's and such. This was a great new addition to the neighborhood. A couple blocks up from the Metro towards the zoo. Great decor, staff was A+ and our meals were tasty, good portions and well presented. My daughter had the Ceasar salad with steak and I had the eggplant. Both were great choices.
We will be back to Lillies.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMQuiet Brunch SpotWe had a nice, quiet early brunch at Lillies. Not too many people around, great food & service, and nice setting helped us enjoy our meals. Very close to the National Zoo for a walk afterwards.3/17/2013 12:00:00 AMHidden and worth itSuch a find! Tucked in a building on Connecticut, a gorgeous, cozy little spot with fantastic food and even better service. We had a blast and will definitely return soon.2/7/2013 12:00:00 AM
