Diner Reviews
  • "Perfect for Gluten free people!! We've been a few times and loved it every time. The last time we went we had along an 18 month old and a 3 year old. Everyone had a great time!"

  • "I reserved a table a couple weeks before. Got there and was taken right up to it. Servers were very nice and food was delicious. I have celiac and love how they take care of me with that no problem. Overall it was great and everyone enjoyed their meal."

  • "Rare to find a solid Chinese reastaurant these days that is not Asian fusion. This is a special place for glutein free diners as they are attuned to the nuances necessary for glutein sensitive individuals. They have a separate large glutein free menu which is almost identical to the regular menu. Bravo! in fact all at the table can eat glutein-free without feeling compromised."

  • "Great for anyone, including those who are gluten free! Dumplings and crispy spring rolls? Yes! Good cocktails as well. Menu is pretty standard fare but exactly what you want when you're looking for traditional Asian/American."

  • "We had a large party of 6, so I thought it was best to make a reservation. Upon entering the restaurant, and being 15 minutes early, they seated us immediately upstairs. The ambiance was relaxing, and the decor was fresh, yet, inviting. They offered an exclusive gluten-free menu, which is a big deal for me. They also featured a happy hour from 4-7pm, although, we came at 7:45. A member of our group joked around about it being 6:45pm in Texas, therefore, still happy hour, and the waiter agreed and gave us the 2-for-1 beers - I thought this was exceptional service. I would definitely recommend this restaurant again, as the portions, prices, and service cannot be beat!"

  • "Nice spot for happy hour without the crowds of a bar. Since they don't have a bar area, we were able to enjoy cocktails at a table before dinner. Pan-Asian menu has great variety, my sashimi appetizer and Peking duck were delicious."

  • "I have been here 3 times because a friend needs a gluten-free menu. Our group sits upstairs and always has a great time. There is something for everyone on the diverse menu. The staff is pleasant and attentive and handles a group with people stumbling in at different times well. The restaurant is conveniently located in Mid-town."

  • "Two of us in the party ordered dishes labeled as spicy - they were not at all spicy. Chicken satay, hot and sour soup and sweet and sour chicken were enjoyed by one member of our party. The green served was incredibly awful."

  • "We went to Lilli and Loo because I had heard about their extensive gluten-free menu of Chinese food. They did not disappoint - they had a wide variety of options for me, everything from spring rolls to crispy sesame shrimp, all delicious and safe to eat. We went on a Thursday night and they had a little jazz duo playing, and it was a great atmosphere. We all walked away happy!"

  • "I am on a gluten free diet and loved all the choices on the gluten free menu. My eggplant with chicken was delicious and I cannot wait to return to this restaurant to try something else."

  • "Lilli and Loo was very crowded when we arrived on time for our reservation. They had given away our table though so we had to wait 10 minutes-did not mind because this was a holiday meal and we had a large group so it was to be expected. The food was good and had some different things on the menu. Prices were fair and the wait service was good. Loved the décor and will return!"

  • "We were a group of 8, including kids. Meals served on time and were presentable. Attentive wait staff. Some dishes missing the hot (not temperature) punch. Overall, good place to go for dinner."

  • "We went for the gluten free menu which was large; many choices. General tso chicken was a good dish. Dumplings and shrimp tempura was ok. The breading was thick and chewy. Sushi was plentiful and fresh. Spare ribs were really good. singapore curry noodles were mediocre. Hot and sour soup was watery and lacked flavor. Service was nice."

  • "We dined here on Christmas Eve. We had a gluten free dietary requirement which was easily accommodated with gf menu. Food was very good."

  • "They have an extremely extensive gluten free menu. The food was fairly good, lacking a little spice. Just be sure to order specifically off the GF menu... I made the mistake of tasting my boyfriend's soup because I saw it was also on the GF menu, the waiter came over and let me know there was gluten in it."

  • "We went to Lilli's and Loos for a birthday dinner for my daughter and husband and were extremely happy with the service and our meal.. My daughter is gluten-free and there was sooo much for her to choose from. Our server was also very attentive to her needs. We sat upstairs and had a wonderful time eating and listening to the piano/guitar ensemble playing. My husband spent about 6 months in Taiwan and felt his meal was as good as any meal he had there. Kudos to Lilli's and Loos!!!"

  • "I LOVE Lilli and Loo! I am gluten free and dairy free and they have a menu to accomodate. The GF food here is delicious, especially the GF spring rolls ... I live for those!! My non-GF/DF boyfriend loves the food on their regular menu. Highly recommended!!"
