Food was not tasty. We ordered thai dishes but the taste was far from thai taste. Massaman curry was too sweet. Red snapper fish in thai curry was disappointing.

There is no better restaurant in New York City for gluten free Asian food. My daughter has Celiac Disease and is very limited in where she can eat and feel comfortable and safe. We are from Long Island and this is our new go to place in Manhattan. We venture into the city just to eat here. We have been here half a dozen times returning with friends and family and can't wait to go back!

...it is entirely unacceptable that the server delivered my "vegan" dish with egg after explicitly confirming that he would have it prepared without it. He did not offer to make it right once I brought it to his attention. Poor form.

The food was good and plenty. They need to fix downstairs. Remove giant reception desk & have more discreet delivery service. Would bring kids but not friends because it looks like a cheap place going in, but food is surprisingly good. Glad i read & listened to reviews. We had shrimp dishes, soups, dumplings, veg and egg rolls & tangerine beef with brown rice.

I went here with a group of 5, one of whom is vegan. They had a great selection of food that everyone enjoyed, yummy cocktails, and for NYC the bill was extremely reasonable. We ordered family style and tried the curry, pad tai, sushi, and a couple other dishes and they were all delicious. Definitely recommend!

My wife has been on a gluten free diet for 2+ years and really misses good Chinese food. When googling for "gluten free chinese food", Lilli & Loo was the main hit. We were finally able to go there on a recent trip to New York. It was everything she hoped it would be.

I was looking for a place for our family to enjoy dinner together. One member of our party is gluten free and the GF choices at Lilli and Loo were an added bonus. We had a fun evening with drinks, appetizers to share and entrees. Good food and pleasant staff. We were not rushed at all and thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

Rare to find a solid Chinese reastaurant these days that is not Asian fusion. This is a special place for glutein free diners as they are attuned to the nuances necessary for glutein sensitive individuals. They have a separate large glutein free menu which is almost identical to the regular menu. Bravo! in fact all at the table can eat glutein-free without feeling compromised.

We had a large party of 6, so I thought it was best to make a reservation. Upon entering the restaurant, and being 15 minutes early, they seated us immediately upstairs. The ambiance was relaxing, and the decor was fresh, yet, inviting. They offered an exclusive gluten-free menu, which is a big deal for me. They also featured a happy hour from 4-7pm, although, we came at 7:45. A member of our group joked around about it being 6:45pm in Texas, therefore, still happy hour, and the waiter agreed and gave us the 2-for-1 beers - I thought this was exceptional service. I would definitely recommend this restaurant again, as the portions, prices, and service cannot be beat!

We went to Lilli and Loo because I had heard about their extensive gluten-free menu of Chinese food. They did not disappoint - they had a wide variety of options for me, everything from spring rolls to crispy sesame shrimp, all delicious and safe to eat. We went on a Thursday night and they had a little jazz duo playing, and it was a great atmosphere. We all walked away happy!

Lilli and Loo was very crowded when we arrived on time for our reservation. They had given away our table though so we had to wait 10 minutes-did not mind because this was a holiday meal and we had a large group so it was to be expected. The food was good and had some different things on the menu. Prices were fair and the wait service was good. Loved the décor and will return!

We went for the gluten free menu which was large; many choices. General tso chicken was a good dish. Dumplings and shrimp tempura was ok. The breading was thick and chewy. Sushi was plentiful and fresh. Spare ribs were really good. singapore curry noodles were mediocre. Hot and sour soup was watery and lacked flavor. Service was nice.

We went to Lilli's and Loos for a birthday dinner for my daughter and husband and were extremely happy with the service and our meal.. My daughter is gluten-free and there was sooo much for her to choose from. Our server was also very attentive to her needs. We sat upstairs and had a wonderful time eating and listening to the piano/guitar ensemble playing. My husband spent about 6 months in Taiwan and felt his meal was as good as any meal he had there. Kudos to Lilli's and Loos!!!

Got to indulge in some chinese food treats I don't usually get to have. Fried spring rolls and dumplings were definitely worth it! Super yummy and reminded me of non gluten versions. The pad thai was good not terrible just run of the mill. Staff was very knowledgeable about their gluten free menu and service was fast to order and serve. They did disappear for a bit but it was a casual dinner and we were not rushed for our table. Bubble tea was great and dinner was also. I would definitely visit Lilli and Loo again when I am in NYC.
